Starbird

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love starbird. I'd even say they're chicken is way better than other chicken fast food spots (low key shade). I have tried almost everything on the menu. My favorite salads are the chicken chop and the Buffalo chicken salad. My husband usually gets the chicken sandwich. And their fries are divine. If anyone does choose to come here don't forget to also try their amazing raspberry lemonade.

Chicken sandwich is pretty good and fries taste way better than they look. The chicken wings were had a bit too much oil to my taste but were flavorful. Spacious and clean environment, food was ready quick, overall a positive experience. EDIT: Replying to the restaurant: I think it was garlic parmesan and sweet thai chilli! Again, they were delicious just a bit more oily than I would like :)

We got wings with slaw and fries, Szechuan Hotbird sandwich. Nashville Hot wings are spicy, very juicy and got a really good crunch. 5 out of 5 Lemon pepper wings were really good. Good amount of lemon pepper not overly spicy, juicy and good crunch. Szechuan Hotbird sandwich loved the pickled veggies, made it really fresh. Chicken had really good crunch. Very tasty bite with the bun, aioli sauce, crunchy chicken, and pickled veggies. Only issue was the bottom bun was soggy but took care of that problem by eating it faster. 5 out of 5. Interestingly, eventhough all the chicken was really good, the fries were pretty much meh. They were a bit on the soft side, not hot when we received the food. Fries were petty disappointing. 1 out of 5

The concept is sound. The chicken strips are better than Cane's; and so are the sauce options. Where they dropped the ball is with the part of my order that mattered most. It's mostly simple to count chicken when ordering a X-piece combo. But I also ordered the chicken katsu salad and what they gave me left some things to be desired; like all the ingredients I was promised (see attached photo). I ordered it as it came, with grilled chicken. Also, for the price, it could stand to have a bit more chicken. The presentation could use some work as well. I understand it might not look like the picture, but if you advertise it coming in a bowl, don't just toss some lettuce in a box because it is for takeaway. Salad items may be secondary but I can just go to McDonald's if I wanted one phoned in.

Stopped in to grab a bite to eat. Ordered Nashville hot sandwich combo with fries and drink. It seems they prioritize takeout/delivery over done in cause the place cleared out before I got my order and several people came in and ordered after I did. The sandwich was pretty good. Fries on the other hand were soggy and didn't care for them at all. Pink lemonade was super sweet, I poured the cup out I couldn't finish it. It was sweeter than the soda. Overall the chicken is only thing I can say was good, but for the price you can get larger portion at other fast food restaurants.

I eat here like once a week. It's a go to for lunch. The big star hits, the starbird is good, tenders are good. They have so many sauces! I appreciate the sugar cane soda they offer. I recommend the app, you can save $5 every three orders, it's pretty cool. It can be busy at lunch time so ordering ahead is a wise choice. they have plenty of indoor and limited outdoor seating. The parking lot can get a bit congested but that's but their fault, turn in at McDonald's and then hang a right behind taco bell for easy parking.
