Best fried pie you will ever have that is a prepackaged product! All the flavors and crust are true grandma cooking...with alot of filling! The filling is not just a jelly like substance...real filling! Great gifts and quick shipping! Reasonable cost too!

My, oh my, what a delicious pie, just like Mom would bake. I bought a cherry Mindy Lu Pie from a small convience store named, The Busy Beaver, the name Beaver is the school athletic name. The town is, Falls City. Anyway, I deliver newspapers part time and this is one of my stops. While doing transactions with the cashier, I saw a display ov Mindy Lu Pies, as the cashier if they were good, she assured me that they were like home made, in addition she told me that they sold like hot cakes, that they couldnt keep enough in stock. I bought one and shortly afterwards two customers behind me did the same. Gee, I was amazed of the taste. Had to look the name up soon on the cell phone. Now, I noticed that HEB Food store is on your list that you supply, however, o am from Beeville, Texas and check for the pies here, but they dont carry them. Did however consulted with the manager and assured him of how good the pie is, hopefully he will be able to soon carry them as he said that he would try Paul C. Loehr
Pie Deli. Think of Mindy Lu's as a pie deli rather than an eatery. You really go there to buy their incredible fried pies, which come in a plain white box. For less than the price of a doughnut you can have a freshly baked peach, apple, vanilla cream, banana (and many more flavors) fried pie. Say Hi to Mr. Mayer behind the counter.
I bought these online, but was kinda hesitant since I live in Ohio. But, they were better than I expected. The crust makes a pie a good pie, and the crust was really good. I live not far from Amish country and buy theirs whenever I see them. You can't beat an Amish fried pie, but these are up there. And I prefer unglazed like these. Yeah, these are really good pies.
Best fried pies ever! I was so happy when I found the website and was able to order online. I spoke with David and he packed my order personally and made sure it got to me very quickly! Will be odering lots more in the future!

Ever since hostess discontinued their blueberry pies I had been unable to find another company that made Them until a couple weeks ago. I stopped by Albertsons and saw a side stack of Mindy Lu’s pies! I bought several different flavors which were all amazing but the blueberry by far was my favorite. I then ordered a case for my dad who has also been unable to find good pies since hostess discontinued the blueberry pies. The crust is the closest thing to homemade that you can buy in a store! I also love the fact that they don’t overdo it by putting a glaze on the pies! I will continue eating and ordering these pies for a very long time! Thank you Mindy Lu’s!
My mother & I love your fried pies, have had some issues with getting my preferred flavors at different store. Then found out the bakery/store is within a couple of miles, now I’ve found my go to place. They were very friendly & professional…..I will be back!!!
Mindy Lu's beats the heck out of all the other fried pies on the market. They have great taste, a wonderful selection of favors and like another reviewer said, they are completely addictive.
The outlet is amazing in that you can get the pies fresh. They also offer boxes with an assortment of the pies at a deep discount for their "non-perfect" pies. You do not get to choose the flavors, per se, so you get to try a variety of 10 pies for $3.00. I did not think I would like it, but I end up finding flavors I enjoyed that I may not have tried otherwise. Chocolate, lemon, and apricot were surprisingly very good to me, though I would have assumed otherwise.
Once you try Mindy Lu's, I am willing to bet you will chose them over any other brand marketed.
I totally love the crust and the flavors my most all time is the lemon and there's no other better kind of pie crust so natural doesn't have all that sugar on like most do. It's way healthier than any other pie crust
