Ok, having a collection of Indian friends, this is a sensitive topic. Ive eaten my share of Indian cuisine these past 4 years, so I am speaking from a place of understanding good from a Texas born perspective. So, I like the food. That's my answer. I always order the chicken biryani and naan and sometimes the Curry's. The owners remember me, the prices are comparable and the specials are great. I try to get the food every other week despite living 17 miles south.
Some of the best Indian food I've had in a restaurant. My mom loved the vegetable biriani and my lamb curry was absolutely delicious! The prices were more than fair. If you want dinner for 2 for $20 or less, you will be pleased. They also offer a selection of Indian and specialty drinks. I also look forward to exploring the grocery selection.
Location looks a tad run down. 5 stars for food though. Delicious Chicken Biryani, Vegetable Samosas, and Chicken Curry.
we had lunch there today and the customer service was great. the food is delicious. we enjoyed the wings, daal, and goat curry. I find the food to be just as oily as other Indian restaurants in town or Texas so no complaints, besides that is what makes the food taste better. will be back again to try the chicken biryani. the prices are reasonable so give this place a try if in the area.
I ordered through DoorDash. My first order was Chicken Tikka Masala. It was absolutely delicious. I ordered garlic naan which was also great. It would have been nice to have more chicken in the dish, but there was plenty of gravy and rice. It was so good I'm ordering a second day in a row so I can try something new! Most of their prices are pretty good too (and that's on DoorDash which is always higher than in person).
I’m sad to see this restaurant appears to be closed, it had the absolute best Chicken Tikka Masala anywhere. I have been telling everyone that this is the best Indian restaurant around since finding it about half a year ago. Since I haven’t been able to order from here lately I’ve been trying other places and not a single one makes nearly as flavorful food as this restaurant, and if it really is closed permanently it’s a real loss.
I was hesitant to try this place due to the mixed reviews especially about the rice (I love rice). Ordered fish curry, butter chicken, vegetable samosas, garlic Naan and plain Naan. Everything was full of flavor and the rice was fresh (thank goodness). My only complaint is the super spiciness of the food! I know Indian food tends to be spicy but my taste buds were about to explode, BUT I ate my food! My daughter had no complaints. But I would get food there again
My favorite restaurant. I use to be a frequent customer until I moved further away but whenever I'm in the area I still go even if I'm not hungry to pick up a dish. The owner remembers my boyfriend and I and always knows what we want before we even order. It is a small family restaurant but the food is very amazing especially for the price. They also have a little store on the side in the inside of the restaurant. I love buying beef biriyani on Wednesdays since that's when the special is. There's a sign that tells you what the daily special is and it's always a steal. They make really great food so I would suggest checking it out if you're even contemplating it. If you are scared of Indian food being spicy, They can make it less hot but you have to ask them. I think this restaurant deserves 5 stars and that it's very underrated.
if you are expecting fancy, this is not your place. However the food is very good. The chicken marsala was fantastic. The rice was cooked perfectly period soft and fluffy no hard bits in the middle. The naan bread was great . We had a gyro as well and it was very good. Will absolutely be back.
Ordered butter chicken to go. Food was WAY too oily and did not have the flavoring I thought it would have. It was bland and while the meat and rice were cooked well, the dish definitely lacked flavor
