We’ve been loyal to Uncle Julio’s forever but recently a colleague of mine told me I should give this place a shot. My wife loves mariachi bands so when I found out there was a mariachi band here I knew I was in business. Took my wife to dinner Friday night & had a delicious dinner & drinks. Juan, the owner & his family guided us through the experience, suggesting the fried whole red snapper which was absolutely perfect! The mariachi band was fantastic and we topped the night off with sopapillas and fresh honey. Can I call this the best kept secret in Fort Worth? Not anymore! Tortalandia just bumped Uncle Julio’s to the bottom of the rotation.
One of the best family oriented, authentic Mexican food restaurants I have ever been to. Clean, friendly and tasty, just the way I like it!
This place is so yummy! It is one of our favorites. I recommend the shrimp cocktail and chicken flautas. There salsa is fresh and homemade and is always delicious! The service is always great as well.
It was a worthwhile visit and I'm glad I stopped in. Everything was very fresh which I appreciate the meat cuts were more than acceptable. They could've used a little more flavor from using actual fruits and vegetables instead of just spice powders, but otherwise it was spot on and actually Mexican not tex mex and the tortillas were very good which is really important to me. I'll go back. With the exception of pastor this will be my new morning taco spot. The beans were also from scratch which is extremely important to me
Great place for a quick lunch!
We stopped in during our lunch break and were seated quickly with some Chips and salsa. Most of us decided on the Tortilandia Combo which comes with a little bit of everything. Definitely a great choice for someone who doesn't know what to get. The enchiladas were said to taste just like someone's grandma just made them and if that doesn't sell you on the quality I don't know what will.
Loved their breakfast tacos! Got bacon & egg, ham, potato & egg on homemade flour tortillas & a Barbacoa taco on corn tortilla. Loved the mild, fresh salsa with the crispy, airy, warm tortilla chips. Friendly, fast service. Will definitely return!
Drive by this place frequently and finally decided to stop. Was an amazing little quaint place. Clean, friendly staff and food was great.
A bit pricey $8 a tostada
Found this place by accident. I was very lucky. Food was great and service was even better.. Great place for breakfast, would definitely Recommend..
Salsa was great. I almost got full on eating so much chips and salsa because I couldn't stop eating them.
Great menudo, not a big bowl tho, otherwise very tasty.
