Tim Hortons

I was planning on giving Tim Hortons another chance after all the bad experiences I had at the other units that closed in my city. By chance I was close to this one today. Unfortunately, their headquarters, being in Canada, probably directed this unit to have their dining room closed. Sorry, but my vehicle will not safely fit through a drive thru. Bad business decision in regards to a location in the Midwest. That just says your company doesn't want my money, fair enough.

I just moved to Fort Wayne and I was relieved to find a Tim Hortons so close to home. I usually don't leave bad reviews but it's been a week and I still can't understand what happened. I was standing in line ordering and there was a couple in front of me just holding hands. When they ordered, the girl at the counter said "I'm sorry you're making our customers uncomfortable" and looked down at their hands and coughed" The two young women turned back and looked and just walked out. I felt so bad for them. I couldn't believe what I had just seen. I walked out after them and left without ordering. I can't go back in there. The employee was in her 30s maybe and had black hair. I didn't bother to get her name.

I've gone to the Coldwater location quite a few times over the past two years and have noticed a steady decline in quality, but not enough to suggest someone not go there. I'm not sure if it was an inventory issue, but the breakfast wraps have been made using the same egg as the other sandwiches, that is to say, with a noticeable egg white instead of a scrambled style egg. My coffee order quality is also all over the place. I never know whether it is actually going to taste good or just be palatable. The staff is friendly, but I've noticed that the crew tends to change on an almost weekly basis. This is probably part of the reason the quality has been inconsistent. But, I still go because it's a really convenient coffee and breakfast stop on my way to work.

Very nice staff; their drive thru is experience has an issue with the menu system detecting customers, and their soda fountain machine was broken; however, they were really nice about it and offered alternative beverages to make it right. Also I love that they carry items for lunch that aren’t so unhealthy like other fast food joints.

Just about every time I pull into the store on coldwater and union chapel rd in Fort wayne, which is just right down the road from my work, I am running late for work just for coffee because your store does not open until 6 am when I am suppose to be at work. I sit at the speaker right at 6 where I get no acknowledgement, I usually end up honking my horn after 3 or 4 minutes of waiting, why? As I pulled in I saw 3 employees just chatting it up while I got no service for those few minutes. The other day I tried to stop for coffee and a breakfast sandwich, which I could not get because someone had not pulled the meats, they said I could wait but it was going to be a while. Ordered 40 timbits variety, got all the same kind, she even confirmed it was a variety box. Really think I am just gonna start going back to McDonald's, 😒
