Great food and beer at very reasonable prices. Pulled pork sandwich memphis style is my favorite. Owners are there all the time and very friendly. One of our favorite spots!

All the hate is just folks who went in there for a night, and weren't treated like kings. This bar is one of, if not the best, nook and cranny bar, in Fort Wayne. Kat, April, and Red are the best! This is a bar where you have good and fun conversations at. Skin color means nothing to them. It's about how you treat the staff. They respect the golden rule.

I'm 60 years old and I've been drinking at the Rock tavern since I was 18 and under age. 42 42 years of the hillbilly near biker weirdness that is The Rock tavern..... The Rock tavern is an assemblage of history, human characters and stories as diverse as a Pulitzer prize-winning photographer whom I met in 1994, and individuals who have plenty of money for alcohol and they're wearing shoes made of duct tape. Forget neckbeard wannabe local taverns with a sprinkling of local color. If you want to immerse yourself in a 2019 version of a 1930s working man's tavern, come to the Rock. Tip your waitress and be unsurprised if the smoking area and back has the occasional width of a California cigarette.
