Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel: we arrived at 4:00pm today the restaurant wasn't crowded! We were seated rite away, and Jacob our server took our order along with serving our drinks.. Eight min later we had our delicious meals along with Jacob our very fine attentive server.we ordered Icelandic cod dinner, and the Meatloaf! Both dinners were well cooked, and rite on with taste, texture, and temperature! Around an hour dining, and Jacob checking on us regularly, keeping us well watered. Everything was awesome here today! Including the old country store, We purchased some nice items from the fine selection in their store. A great dinner all around.

We stopped for 2 egg sandwiches and toast and some coffee. We waited 1 hour for or food. God bless our waitress Alex who was so sweet and nice. Mostly when people say down 40 min after us with 6 people and ordered a ton of food and got served way before us. At check out we said how good our waitress was and how long we waited for food and they just said sorry.. will not be going there again for sure!

Very mixed experience. The store section was packed, but mostly people milling around but not leaving and pick-up orders. We nearly left because so many people were standing around that we thought there was a long wait and the host was nowhere to be found, but when they arrived we were seated immediately. Then when we ordered, we twice ordered things that were out of stock. I don't care if a restaurant runs out of something, but I want to know before I order. It's not convenient for the waitress to have to keep returning to the table to re-take our order either. One of our sides was missing when the food finally came, so communication all-around could use work. However, we ultimately settled on chicken tenders, which were shockingly good. Delicately breaded, juicy white cuts, and lightly seasoned, maybe the way the catfish is fried, with a ton of meat for $9-$10. After our sides, neither of us could come close to finishing the chicken. So the food was amazing and the service was fine, but the logistics were a mess.

This is a must visit place on your travels in the USA. Beautifully arranged and proves to be a local market place also. You will be surprised to see the varieties of articles on sale,both eatables , garments , fancy articles and decorative materials etc. This is the second time we are visiting the cracker barrel units, once in 2015 just below the lake superior and now here. In both cases the experience was exemplary. The staff were simply great and helpful. They encouraged us to take pictures when we moved around.

We were there 4/30/22 approx 5pm. They weren't overly busy. 7 in our party. Waitress took drink order and she took food order when she brought our drinks. As time passed for a long stretch of time I started watching the new patrons who were being seated in our area...5 new tables came in after us and they all had their food before we did. We were there 2 hours! Not sure if they were waiting to butcher a chicken and cow before feeding us but this totally bad business. Food was good but probably won't be back.

Don’t get take out! Very! Uneducated! People who cannot take your order properly this is my second time ordering takeout where they give me what they want to give me not what I order. When you return the food and the receipt they will not refund you your money only give you an option to have your food recooked the right way (rush, angry chef maybe spit in my food) & Sit there and wait two hours total to eat & for you to get my order correct on the second time smh I don’t think so I’d rather have my money back but they are Shystie grimy people here who will not refund money on their business mistakes with food that hasn’t been touched

Excellent customer service!!! Delicious food. Great selection of nostalgic sodas and snacks & wonderful & varied selection of gifts in the store. It was comforting and inviting to feel the warmth from the fireplace. We drive an hour each way to get this Cracker Barrel in Fort Wayne, IN and it is always worth it!
