Loved the food and ambience, Great lemonades and margaritas. The steaks cooked on rock was a good experience. They have great seafood options as well. Server forget to give the sauces and garlic butter but later corrected that, no biggie..
I loved their clam chowder soups and the sides were good too.
Definitely recommended.
Cool place! Cheap drinks deals and great happy hours. We ended up getting 2 apps and being very surprised at how big the portion sizes were.
Great place for an interactive food experience. You can choose to cook your steak or tuna on a hot stone placed at your table. It was such fun and the food was delicious off the stone or from the kitchen! Loved the old fashion and dessert, too!
My cousins and I visited this location for a cousins date. Great atmosphere, Mark, our waiter was amazing. Very engaging with us, laughing and joking. The food and drinks were amazing. I guess prior to coming, I didn't know if you wanted a steak on the rock you would have to cook your steaks and other items you were interested in. I saw others cooking their food on a rock. It seemed very interesting i just didn't want to be smelling like a kitchen at our next stop. I opted for the lobster dip and the chicken stir fry. Both were delicious 😋 the drinks were amazing, the margaritas and long islands. My cousins had jerk chicken wings and the coconut shrimp meal as well. We will definitely be back to try again.
Had a great dinner here with my wife and friends! The hot rock is a cool idea, and the butter they give you to smear on your steak, salmon or shrimp is INCREDIBLE!! I would highly recommend stopping by this place if you’re in the area and want a great meal 😊👍
Pretty good for a bar and grill type restaurant. They have a unique concept to have you cook your own steak/seafood on the hot rock/plate. We didn't want to cook the food ourselves, so decided to get a pasta and burger. They were ok, not the best. Drinks were really good. And plenty of TVs to watch sports.
Had an amazing time, Mark was our waiter/bartender and he is the best. He made our dining experience great. The jerk chicken wings were to die for and the strawberry Hennessy drink is absolutely delicious. Enjoy Black Rock like we did. Mark was amazing with his customer service, we will definitely be back again. Thank you Mark!!! Thank you Black Rock!!!
Everything was amazing, our waitress was lovely and the hostess was very nice. The food was so on spot!
We were thrown off a bit by the fact that we had to cook the steaks ourselves. The staff, which was outstanding, offered to have the kitchen cook it, but my wife and I were happy to experience the full experience. It was fun and easy to cook. Steaks were great, food is good and the employees were awesome. We will be back.
First time dining at Black Rock Bar & Grill. A large casual steakhouse with indoor/outdoor seating. The restaurant was not busy. After I was quickly seated, I was then nicely greeted by a male server who informed of the stone entrees which you cook on a 755° volcanic stone. It sounded interesting, but I decided to pass and started off with a glass of white zinfandel and a bowl of New England clam chowder, which was flavorful and full of clams and bite sized veggies. Next I ordered coconut shrimp which was served with orange marmalade for dipping, rice, and string beans. The shrimp was fried nicely with a crunchy coconut coating. The dipping sauce had a bit of a spicy kick yet complemented the shrimp. The string beans were a bit crunchy for my liking and the rice was cooked to a soft consistency...absolutely delicious.
Wish I had room for dessert, but I was full. Really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, I felt so relaxed. Look forward to coming back.
