May 10-2022 ~. My husband and I were looking for a nice mom and pop Cuban restaurant for breakfast . This gem popped up. Read fact at the end of my note !!!
I told my husband this the kind of place I wanted .
Low key , really not much to the cafe in itself . But we love to find places like this to also help small business in this difficult Economic times .
The chef is the cook and also the waiter .
Love his Cuban accent . He is a hard worker . You can see into the kitchen . Bathroom was clean . Café con leche is super strong be very ready for that 😂.
This is a place for the locals absolute . I will def come back here for lunch . Also breakfast is served ALL DAY .

Little fact :Humberto told me that the plaza they are in will be demolished to build apartments . He has been there for 21 years . He was a bit sad when he told me . My heart broke . He will prob be there until the end of the year . So. Head up there when you are in town and give him a try . In his business cards he has his contact info . So I plan to contact him . Hopefully they reopen somewhere else . Food is cheap so give them extra tip.
If you have been watching Johnny Deep trial , they guy vaping while giving his testimony well Humberto has that kind of character 😂. He is so funny
Such an awesome vibe. Small town feel with what feels like regular groups of locals hanging out. We came from Colorado with the goal of finding the best Cuban sandwich here. Yelp lists this place as #7 for that currently, but dang this is good! Super fast and kind service too. Will return if we're ever back in the area.
Good little family owned Cuban restaurant. Same owner for 18 years. Both the Owner and staff are very friendly. Pricing is very reasonable. I usually get the Cuban sandwich or one of the daily specials. Give it a try.
Absolutely love this place!! My boyfriend used to come here religious every Saturday... now that we are on the Keto Diet it’s a cheat meal once a week. I’m Cuban and I can attest that the food is authentic and fresh! Though the surround area may be sketchy to a few we’ve never had an issue. The owner is super nice and a hard worker... I believe his wife cooks and they’re a great team and are running an amazing authentic Cuban restaurant!
Living in Tampa for 25+ years my wife and I know good Cuban food. Holy moly, this place does it. Maybe one of my favorite Cubans ever. Brushes the top of the hot, crusty Cuban with some sort of garlic butter. The gentleman running the place... It was just him and his dad running it, love that. Friendly, simple, quick. Had to come back for breakfast and get breakfast sandwiches on Cuban bread with cafe con leche - best way to start a day. They're doing it traditional... And they're doing it right
Humberto and Flor are the best! They have been in the same location for years and the food is always on point. My spot to grab the best Cuban coffee in town. Highly recommend!

Mouth watering amazing. Went here with a friend of mines. She ordered the pork and i ordered the cuban sandwich. It was so amazing. I tried the pork meat. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. 👌👌 best cuban place ive been too so far near my job.
A perfect breakfast ~ cafe con leche, 2 eggs, 3 bacon & hash browns along 1/2 loaf of fresh Cuban bread ALL for $5.75. . . Amazing & delicious! Make sure & tip well it's a local family business !!

I ate the " Cuban Sandwich" and it was awesome 👌 I recommend that you get the " hot sauce". The owner is on the spot cooking and interacting with customers!!
