I typically go for Doughboys on 17th street. They've always been my go-to pizza joint. However, the folks at Empire have me going to Empire more and more I'm not sure the last time I've gotten from another pizza place. The food is delicious and the service is stellar. Thanks for an enjoyable experience every time!

Now empire isn’t rated higher is beyond me. I’m from up north so I know pizza. This place is fire!! Whenever I get pizza I get empire. My bf even for me a pizza last valentines and they wrote I love u on it with pepperoni (that’s how much I love pizza). It’s cheesy greasy goodness all served on time, fresh, and friendly staff. I love the inside of the establishment as well bc I feel like I’m back up north.

This pizza is delicious- but this one girl behind the counter needs a serious attitude adjustment. It’s dirty looks, short answers, eye rolls and an unfriendly demeanor- I would never have someone so lacking of just the basic customer service skills working for my business.
Aside from that... being from up north, good pizza is hard to find down here in Florida.. but Empire nailed it.

Very tasty! Sauce has a good Italian taste. The crust has a good fresh doughy tasye. Have been going there for a long time and it is always really good. They also have lasagna and other dishes besides pizza. The employees are also very nice and the place is really nice inside!

Absolutely amazing food! The whole staff was so nice as well. The gentleman at the pizza shelf took the time to show me all my options and the lady checking me out was exceptional as well. 10/10 recommend!

Love when I find a place to get some NY style pizza. Wasn't overly greasy, and had a nice crispy crust, still "foldable" to eat it the NY way. Desserts looked great too, but I was actually pretty full from the huge slice of pizza so didn't get to try them, maybe next time.

Empire Pizza is a great little find in the downtown area of Fort Lauderdale. Family run and New York / Kong themed with a great NY style pie. I enjoy the Chicken Parmesan sub with the thin fries. The staff is always nice and i recommend if you are in the area. Busy during lunch due to the locals, but well worth the wait.

I love Empire Pizza. I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY, and their pizza reminds me of home. You can't find that very often in FL. Everybody claims to have NY style pizza. Empire is the real deal. I eat at Empire for lunch all the time. They get several thumbs up from me!
