Why 4’s all around even though it was all good? Just leaves a little something to be desired with the slightly off kiltered service due to it being busy, and the road side nature of the outdoor dining.
Highly recommend any of the biscuits, it is big but not heavy. Not sure it would travel well because, well biscuits.
Lastly the OJ (which may actually be Clementine juice or something along those lines was worth the entire $9. They don’t add an ounce of anything to it and it’s frothy authentic deliciousness.
Parking tip: just past 2nd street is government something parking and it’s $2 an hour garage parking which is nice for if you aren’t sure how long you’ll be walking around after.
The location is interesting. This was my first time in the area. If it's your first time there keep in mind you will have to pay for parking. It was $10 for 3-4 hrs where I parked. The food was good. They have a good selection options. They had a few seafood options as well. The pancakes are not the traditional pancakes which was fun to try. The service was nice. If you sit inside depending g on tje time of day it can feel a bit crowded. All in all I would consider going back
The food was delicious. I had the BLT on a biscuit, which was messier than having on the toast, but still very tasty. My daughter and I shared the corn pancake, yummmmy! She also ordered the potato salad with her breakfast and it was so good.
The only reason I gave the service 3 stars is that I watched a table ask for something and when the server walked away, she made faces as if they asked for too much, she was annoyed. It's a very small eating area, so be careful how you handle your reactions that other customers can see.
Best bacon egg and cheese biscuit ❤️. I always look to try new restaurants in any town I’m visiting. This one is actually close to the children’s museum so it was definitely a win. They do everything online.., order, pay. I paid roughly $50 with tip for 2 people. The bacon egg and cheese I ordered, was rather large. I can’t finish it. My daughter ordered blueberry pancake and sausage Patties. The Patties are massive compared to what we usually get back home. The seating area is really nice. Outdoor dining surrounded by greenery, birds and butterflies. I loved the aesthetic. Visit if you can 😊
Every bit of our food was absolutely outstanding!! Very delicious and signature style cooking. The staff is friendly, and speedy with the service. Other servers are always ready to happily assist if you don’t see your server within calling over distance. Overall we had a great experience, we went back the next day.
SO GOOD! We’ve been visiting Fort Lauderdale for over 15 years and are disappointed we hadn’t tried O-B House sooner. We loved the service, atmosphere and food - that’s a triple threat. Shoutout to Marvin for being our first friendly encounter, followed by Frank’s solid recommendations - the strawberry pecan pancake was outstanding. Bonus? Farm to table. Also, don’t sleep on the chocolate chip cookies. We’ll be back!
A must visit restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area. Be prepared for a wait as the beautiful outdoor garden seating is limited. We ordered the farmer breakfast sandwich, coleslaw and blueberry corn pancake. The biscuits were amazing and we took some home with extra gravy. The pancake was thick and fluffy and very cake like. My family talks about this breakfast and it’s a must go every time we’re around.
Kristopher (with a K) is the man! He was very nice, he explained the menu very well. He made amazing suggestions and they tasted amazing. This place truly is one of a kind!
At first we were a little confused because the pancakes were $20..... But once we received the pancake we understood why. Probably One of the best pancakes I've ever had. We had a banana pecan pancake which can feed two to three people and also had a Belgium white chocolate pancake. The biscuits and gravy were heavenly. All the biscuits and pancakes were made in the stone oven and you can tell the quality. I had the "add the ham" sandwich obviously on the homemade biscuit and it was phenomenal. The ham was delicious, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the egg was free range egg and it was delicious.
The orange juice is fresh squeezed, Yes you're paying $9 for it but I know exactly what a fresh squeeze orange tastes like from Florida because I grew up here, And that's exactly what it was... Squeezed to order. Sangria was really good, It was crisp and bright!
The atmosphere is phenomenal. The owner converted the parking lot during the pandemic to a serene and beautiful porch garden environment. On the perfect day, this is the perfect place to have breakfast. Kris was such a sweetheart and he gave us chocolate chip cookies to go!
We came from Orlando to celebrate my mom's birthday and this was the best breakfast spot I've had in a long time. I will be coming back!
This place is really yummy. I am not sure why they don’t offer inside seating anymore? It’s too hot year round.
They built a really beautiful courtyard with tables.
There was entirely too much waste.
They have a dishwasher I’m not sure why they serve everything in tinfoil and paper.
Also it says no tipping online but then you have to place your order through an app and it suggests tipping. Very confusing
Breakfast, a Saturday, around noon. With J and C. Was told 40 minute wait. Put name on list. Walked to museum, looked around, walked back . 20 minutes. Was seated! Order via app. Food takes 20 minutes. Big biscuits, nicely folded omelets, generously filled. Pancakes are different here. Food is delicious. Bill with tip was 146$ A lot for breakfast. Was worth it.
