Subway

We only eat out once a week to celebrate all of our hard work. I used a buy 2 get one free 12 inch coupon and ordered through the app. Shortly after I got a call from our sandwich artist telling me she only had enough meatballs for a 6 inch sub, I asked the sandwich artist how that would affect the coupon and she didn't know. I spoke to my daughter and asked if she wanted something else, she thought about it and after a couple minutes the sandwich artist said she did have enough meatballs for the 12 inch. I went to pick up our order and asked how she resolved the shortage and she said she just had to get some more meatballs from the back. Hmmm. When I got home and opened my own sandwich all the guacamole was at one end of the sub instead of evenly distributed throughout the sandwich. We won't eat here again, there are plenty of places that will provide our one meal out a week up to standards. Interestingly I received an email asking for feedback of our experience, but when I tried to complete it it said it had expired. Subway as a company has had a bad rep for years but I've never had a problem until this time, it's unfortunate because they used to provide decent food and service at a good value. Oh well. There's plenty of sandwich shops that still do a good job. Adios.

The food is consistent. When the machine didn't give me my change, the counter version just said, sorry, and that was that. I know service is spotty everywhere due to the labor shortage, but there were three people working, and we were the only people in there. I go in here a couple times a month because it's close to my house, but I would not go out of my way to stop in. They definitely have some training issues here, and there are never the same people working there anytime I go in.

This Subway is part of a gas station, serving personal cars and semi-trailers, just off the highway. Granted, it was within about 30 minutes of closing but the place was a wreck. Floors and tables were not very clean so I asked for our food to go. The staff seemed to not want our group of 3 adults and a teenager to bother them with an order. Service was excruciatingly slow, although we were the only diners at the counter and every table was empty. It took nearly 15 minutes to make our order of 2 six inch and 2 foot long subs. One sandwich was supposed to be toasted but somehow wasn't. Luckily, I don't live nearby so won't ever visit again. Other travelers should pass this sub-par Subway by.
