Ordered the Johnny Cash Burger and Blue Cheese and Bacon Tots. Also got an Angels Envy bourbon which they obligingly put on a single old fashioned ice cube. Everything was great, with no complaints, and I consider myself quite discerning with food and drinks. As I told the barkeep "you'd do fine in NOLA and I don't say that lightly."

Had read the Google reviews and even spoke with a local nearby and got nothing but positive reviews about this place but after spending $50 here I'll tell you BURGER KING has better burgers than the Western burger that we ordered. Absolutely disappointed but i might give them a try again with a different burger and change the review IF that burger will match The hype but currently this place was Garbage👎🏻

Always wanted to try this place. We decided to get it & I was feeling like having a salad that day. I asked if they can add tri tip to the salad (since they have other tri tip plates) they said they couldn’t, but said they could add steak. I said sure, but it ended up being ground beef. The salad was better than I thought, I just thought it was funny that they added ground beef. Also based on the customer service experience in person, I couldn’t give 5 stars

My husband and I tried Samuel Horne's today for lunch. Great little tap house with a wide selection of beer and decent menu. Loved that the bartender gives you samples of the different brews to help in making a selection. The food was great! My husband got the Johnny Cash burger (delicious!!) and I got the Steakhouse Dip sandwich (equally delicious!!). The bartender accidentally put my order in as the Steak & Peppers sandwich, so I was able to take a bite of that one as well; don't get that unless you REALLY like spicy food. When the bartender realized her error, she put in the correct order and the kitchen took care of it very quickly. We would definitely return and recommend Sam's to others. A few things to note: seating is limited and you head to the bar to place your orders.
