Absolutely incredibly lunch spot! The food is unbelievably good. I got a salmon pomegranate quinoa salad and loved it so much I forgot to take a photo. This cookie was also exceptionally good. I am already looking forward to the next time we can eat at Karen’s!

We were walking around old Folsom after eating lunch, and stopped here for a quick dessert. We were quite disappointed. The cookies in the case looked delicious, but they were actually hard and dry once we got them. We had a chocolate chip and a chocolate cherry chunk. It seemed like they had been sitting in the case for a couple of days. We definitely expected better from a bakery and given the price.

WOW! What a gem of a find in our visit to Old Town Folsom. Every dish looks super and our stake and grilled chicks sandwiches were delish and accompanied with very tasty salads. We also had a cowboy cookie that was heavenly. Many other sweets look very tempting. Besides the award level food, the service was great; everyone had a friendly smile and was courteous. No wonder we saw many locals having lunch at this place. Will return next time in the area.

I chose Karen's Bakery for my wedding cake and they did a phenomenal job. My wedding cake came out exactly as I had pictured it. Not only was the pricing a little cheaper than nearby special bakeries but the quality was amazing as well. We did a 3 tier cake with chocolate truffle mouse, raspberry and white chocolate and Dulce De Leche. All tasted amazing, I highly recommend Karens for your wedding cake or just their pastries and treats.

My husband brought home a raspberry & rhubarb pie from here. Literally the best pie I’ve ever eaten. It’s enormous and such good quality. It’s far from where we live but we will 100% be back. He had lunch here as well and said it was excellent.

Even with a full place, the service was pretty fast. We bought a lot of extra baked goods. The do a nice job. Flavorful pastries, cookies, etc. We'll have to try their savoy stuff soon. It looked tasty.
