I tried calling this location around lunch time, to get a dine-in order started to eat here, and they do not answer their phones. The owners excuse, "We only have one server." The owner was the server the ONLY server; can't pay enough for someone to be a server and handle calls for lunch time. Real busy for three tables here in the picture.
I do like this location by Palladio, like to go here with friends, but I'm really tired with their performance. I've had mess-ups, late times for food in the restaurant. But not answering your phones during lunch time? Like why let business go asunder when it could be remdied just by simply hiring a small Pt time position.
Idk, it just really irks me when you are taking orders, and you don't take an order for take out

When it was just Blue Nami, this was all of our favorite place to get super great sushi for a good price. Sadly, ever since Aosome Sushi took over, we’ve all only had bad experiences here with the quality of the food, the customer service and just the atmosphere overall. Haven’t gone back in a couple months and miss when it was just Blue Nami 😞 (staff was really rude and our waiter would roll his eyes everytime we asked for anything)

Had a party of 2, Was told 20 minutes. Gave them my phone number to text me. We sat on the bench outside and waited. At around 20 minutes we went inside to you check how much longer. And nobody was up front for quite a few minutes. So we left and went and checked out a different restaurant. And we still never got a text to be seated. They never text at all. I understand that there could be shortage and staff just like anywhere. But to not even get a text. It's poor business.

Came in today with my wife and this place has CHANGED. We have been patronizing both Palladio and Orangevale locations for the last decade and while out in Folsom on a Wednesday afternoon, we decided to drop in. First off, our server was very kind and helpful so this does not reflect the server. Note the faded picture of the happy hour sign out front, we arrived at 4:30 on Wednesday, happy hour 2-5 Monday through Thursday, seems like we qualify??
I ordered a beer and we shared an app,” both items allegedly on happy hour” , please refer to the sign that states “any beer” and “any appetizer” $4! Please check pics!
We order our usual sushi rolls as well, then the check comes as pictured.

I kindly asked our server, who was great, about the beer and app pricing, which again is clear as day, $4 any beer, $4 any app, she hesitantly said, “let me ask my manager”. This was obvious to me the direction this restaurant has taken, and sure enough she comes back and says” It was ordered after 5” and I showed her the check (pictured) that it was put in before 5. She walked back out of site and came back telling me that the beer was the wrong size and that particular app was not part of the deal.

This manager/owner has to be one of the biggest morons I’ve dealt with in years, forcing his server out to basically say the happy hour is a complete lie.
So after decades of coming to Blue Nami, taking family and friends, and recommending them to any one who likes Sushi new to the area, I am now never recommending or speaking kindly of this place again. This review will be posted on all reviews sites, social media and sent to several local media outlets, newspapers, etc. essentially thousands of potential customers in the Folsom area.

Ever since the original Blue Nami was taken over this place is HORRIBLE. Haven’t been able to eat here in a year because they NEVER answer their phones, never have enough staff and are constantly turning people away at the door because they are always lacking something. I have tried eating here at least 5 times in the last year and can NEVER sit down or order to go. When I crave Blue Nami, I literally drive 30 mins out of my way to go to the Citrus Heights location because they are still amazing. As far as I’m concerned, Blue Nami at the Palladio doesn’t exist. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant to go whenever I’m hungry for some sushi. Their rolls are always 50% off and yes it a pretty nice portion. When it come to their specials or their sashimi combos, I love how creative each plate comes in. Every time it’s a different design and not only does it looks good it also tase good. I’ve been coming to this place ever since it first opened and I’ve had just about everything in the menu. Believe me you can go wrong in whatever you picked.

They have a 50% off menu!They serve cold Edamame which I personally don't like. Our waiter recommended 1 roll of sushi with 3 diff types of fish. Forgot the name. It was good. I ordered the honey dew which has shrimp tempura and mango on top! Loved it! The drink I had was iiring. It was strong!
