(4.3/5 rating) I’ve been going here for a few years and if you’re looking for a quick Peruvian vibe this is it. Unlike the other Pios this one is small with limited menu choices. It’s ideal for a lunch special which comes with chicken. Rice beans and salad. The sangria always hits. However this last time I went I was disappointed with the service & also seems that their chef or something has changed with their cooking. The rice beans and chicken tasted different. The salad was alright. Their staff and service can improve & also seasoning tasted better before.

First time trying Peruvian food, I loved my experience there and the food was delicious & met my expectations 🫶🏾. I am glad that I got to try a new dish. Only giving it 4/5 due to aesthetic

I had no idea about this amazing spot, friend forced me to go, and boy was it worth it. 45 min drive from Long Island. It was worth every minute. The chicken was fresh and succulent, the Madurai where amazing, avacodo slices where so fresh & the tostones where on point. This place was insane. Well worth any trip. I will be coming back again, and again!

Imma start with the cons. This is the smaller version of the other location that is huge. This is a very small place. 4 tables only. You feel crammed. No bar. No BATHROOMS. CASH ONLY!! That being said. The staff is very attentive, friendly and service is fast. There famous green sauce is worth the cons. You can eat this with anything. We got the "el matador combo". Best option for two or three people. It comes with whole chicken, yellow rice red beans, your choice of fried green plantains or sweet. Sausage and fries and an avocado salad with sauce. All that for 39 bucks!! The pitcher of sangria is perfect choice if your undecided about what to drink. Not too sweet and you barley taste the alcohol. Delivery and pick ups are available. Good for a date, small groups. Too small for families. But the food is great.

Literally a hole in the wall, a small, comfy and modest resturant. Honestly those are often hard to find. The food is amazing and so are the prices. Love their saffron rice and green sauce!!! There is a couple minute wait time.

CASH ONLY. You might have to wait for seating if you coming during busy times as this place has very limited seating. However, you can order your food for pick-up if being seated isn't a must. If you are able to and choose to dine-in you will have wonderful service for tasty food. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are filling. The Matador Combo (with an extra side of rice and beans) was able to feed four adults and two children.

It was really delicious and fresh. Simple menu. Cash only. Quick and courteous service. The best deal is the Matador family special for 39 bucks. Very small. Right fit. And no restroom.
