What a yummy dinner, Captain John prepared me scallops, brussel sprouts and broccoli for dinner. We try to eat here once a week. The owners are such nice people and they make sure you have a good time. They also have fresh fish to take home and prepare, so Captain John can be your fishmonger You will not be disappointed.

The dinners and fresh seafood are amazing. John is great and patient and always helpful. Ive got to agree that the lady that runs the desk is rude and very impatient. Part of having a successful business is how you treat customers. Maybe hiring a good hostess and working on the front of your business would help. But the seafood is still top notch!! As I spend my hour in line waiting to pick up a very expensive seafood tray!! 😪😪

Having lived on the Gulf Coast for several years I became pretty spoiled with the incredible food there. After moving back to NKY I’ve struggled to find good seafood anywhere... UNTIL NOW. Holy cow, this is the real deal people!! I will be back as often as possible!

The Owner: Thank you!!! I love this place!! You are always SO welcoming! To the Asian woman behind the counter/cashier. She is SO disrespectful. Intrusive, and IMPATIENT!! It REALLY upset me. I had to hold TEARS back!! Until she's gone I won't be back!!! sad b/c This place is WONDERFUL!

When I first came to this place, I was really confused. I admit it was hard for me to tell what was going on. Is it a restaurant? A fish market? A cooking school? The answer? All of the above. John & Crew run a top-notch seafood place. You won't find a better one in this region. Many of the regional dishes served here, like a New England-style lobster roll or seafood gumbo, are actually better than what you can get in their name native places. Can't recommend this place enough.
