I usually will only drop a review if I've been to food establishment three times.
This is a small restaurant run by Mother and son. Dropped in for a cocktail. Crab cakes were the best I've had in years. Good size, great tasting with a little char. Came back the next morning for breakfast. Lobster Benedict and biscuits and gravy. All on point! YUM!! Service was great. We will return.
While Restobar denied us of service even though they had an hour left of being open, (all we wanted to do was to order drinks) and the owner rudely said no. So we went next door to Mari’s Kitchen and were welcomed wholeheartedly. It smelt like some amazing home cooking that you grew up on. I would have posted the crab cakes we ordered (which I highly recommend) but my husband and I inhaled them within 5 mins. Food was amazing and our waitress was even better. Thank you x1000!
The food was absolutely incredible. The flavors were like an explosion in your mouth. My husband and I come here once a week. We have tried everything on the menu and everything was better than the next. As a person who loves great food, I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!
I enjoyed an excellent dinner here in early August 2023. Ate at the bar and had a seafood pesto pasta ($23) that was amazing. Also had a very good appetizer ($10) but have forgotten what it was, probably a salad. Wine at $8/glass was a good value. So my bill was $49 before tip.
Small but super charming restaurant in old down town. The food was amazing and the you man that waited on us was delightful as well. I had the seafood pasta GREAT flavors. My husband had the crab encrusted halibut and was fantastic as well. Just passing through this area but would 100% eat here again.... Maybe on our way back through going home. It was just that good.
This small little restaurant packs a lot of punch with their great service and amazing food! We had the dolmos and meatball appetizers, and then the seafood pasticcio for dinner. They were all great, but the pasticcio was off the charts with flavor. It came with their homemade rosemary bread which is the perfect complement. It was so good we went back for breakfast the next day and had the lobster Benedict and the veggie omelet, both very good. Very friendly and hardworking staff. Highly recommend!
Small bistro with great taste. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options. Not many. Food is very good, at least for the two in photos.
Stopped by Florence for a bite to eat on our way back from the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. We had our minds set to eat at the Nosh Eatery, but found it to be closed on Sunday. We looked at the menu posted outside. We had walked past this place many times prior, and after eating here, realized what we had been missing out on.
We customized the halibut with crab and chicken / biscuit combo. Our dishes were exceptional, full of flavor and just downright good.
Service was friendly and prompt. We'll definitely be stopping by here again in the future.
Google to the rescue. Mari's was excellent! I have to admit, they make the best Denver omelette I have ever had!!
We’ll worth the 30 minute wait we had to endure with three kids. The kids devoured their meals because they were so good. The salmon alfredo, flat iron steak and clam chowder were delicious. The kids Mac & cheese an absolute winner with our 8y/o. The only negative is that the gluten free pasta was a little disappointing. With that said, the marinara sauce and seafood was delightful!
The staff are worked off their feet because it’s so busy, but attentive despite it! We will be back here the next time we’re in Florence.
