Amazing staple bar in an alley, in downtown Flint. It had been around for over 50 years. Great burgers, great staff. The people are there are cool as well. Not a big SpaceX but it worked well.

This place is very unique! The server and bartender were both great. We had a burger with FF/onion rings. Glad we only ordered one and shared. Big and tasty

We ordered a Torch and Turkey burger, a basket of fries, a water and a Diet Coke. The whole meal came to $18.17. We had to wait probably 15 minutes for our food. The food was steaming hot, the burger was delicious but the turkey burger was dry. I had to ask for more coke for my son. The waiter wasn’t overly friendly but you don’t go to the Torch for the service. You go for the burgers. I’d recommend avoiding the ladies bathroom which is downstairs. The door didn’t lock and if two people were in the bathroom at the same time, you’d have zero privacy even despite the curtain in the second stall.

Awesome service and burgers, as usual. One of my favorite spots. Once you go there, you go for years. Been huge fan of Torch burgers for 20 years.

The atmosphere was great, reminded me of a bar in my hometown. Both the service and the food were good though my burger was overcooked.

The Torch has renovated and is looking good! Same solid tap list, cool new logo glasses, and as always, nothing beats a Torch burger.

The single best bar in the City of Flint. Yvette is also the best bartender in Flint, and it’s always an absolute joy to be at the Torch.

Been wanting to go here for all the praise for their legendary burgers as it’s my favorite food ever. Finally had a chance today and don’t get me wrong, the burger was good but way way overhyped, in my opinion it wasn’t nothing special. I think it must be a hometown hero type of thing. Beer selection was good and the tots were just that. Was a nice cozy atmosphere, service was slow but like allot of places it was staffing issues so we were understanding and patient. Prices were good. Would go again.
