I loved this place! from outside it looks ok, but if you enter the decoration is amazing and the drinks too. It looks fancy and private inside. I ordered the dealer choice and they created something new for me. Plus the drink without alcohol (beachball) was really good too.

Drinks were fantastic! Nice speakeasy feel in a dark setting, almost too dark that I had to take a dark mode picture of the menu on my phone in order to read it. Highly recommend.

Solid cocktail bar. Although, I think it can be a bit overrated.
Some bartenders are a little over the top and might not be as accommodating to people's tastes over trying to push what they like or just what's on the menu.
My experiences have depended mostly on the bartender you end up with.
The cocktail menu is ever-changing.
However, if you get a good bartender, they will discuss your tastes and make something off-menu.
That's when things get interesting!!!

This place is gorgeous amd the signature cocktails are interesting and quite balanced ... but holy hell it's dark. If you have poor night vision/strong astigmatism bring a guide with perfect sight. Eyes slightly adjusted but not in a way that was comfortable. Had to get my phone flashlight out to read the menu. It honestly made me want to mark the rating to 3 instead of 4, but I felt that was too harsh with how great everything else was... that being said, if you're looking for an intimate setting, and you don't mind being near blind, this is the place!

Christmas pop-up vibes were on point as were the drinks — sweet & sugary! The yipee-ki-yay was really good, loved the hint of ube. SanTaRex mug was awesome, 10/10.

Have not been to the Oakland in a while, and decided to stop by. The staff was super nice, the mixologists were very friendly. The drinks were okay, a little on the sweeter side which is not my favorites. Overall I like it and recommend trying them

The drinks are great, but honestly, the cacophonous racket makes meaningful conversation impossible. I took guests from out of town here based on your outstanding drink menu and we loved the drinks. We had to finish our night out somewhere else though because of the noise.
