Culantro

We decided to try their Culantro Bowl since it was offered as a BOGO on Uber Eats. We also tried the beef empanadas. Hubby really liked his empanada. It was both of our first time trying one. They were okay to me. The food was prepared quickly. The bowls were very good. It wasn't much chicken though and the aji Verde sauce we asked for on the side was left out. Hence, the loss of one star but we will definitely try them again.

Culantro is so cute. I’ve always wanted to go to Peru, but I figured I should try the food first! The food is great and the workers are so nice. Really enjoyed everything here. It’s a comfortable, home style restaurant. Every dish we ordered was delish! I would highly recommend the chicken sandwich (not pictured) and the Patacones Picantes. Would 1000% go back to try out more items.

I am from out of town , saw the good reviews and stars so I decided to go . Once I had the first bite of the ceviche I realize this isn’t cooked well and there was sooo much lime that it made it bitter. I went back to the reviews and I saw that majority of the 5stars are from people who first ate Peruvian food . I am from peru and the ceviche isn’t good . The presentation gets a 0. Now The lomo saltado , the meat was ok and the fries , but the amount of soy sauce it was added to the rice didn’t allow me to eat it at all. The best part was the chicha. If I was back to Michigan , I would try something else .
