The service is friendly and the food is fresh. Pizzas are excellent and if you want something different try the stuffed meat pizza. Warning it is a lot of bang for the buck! Expect leftovers.
If you like spicy and seafood a great choice is the Seafood Diavola. It has heaping amounts of crab, shrimp and calamari.
The veal parmaigina is a plate for two. Lots and lots of spaghetti and my brothers had to veal chops. If you get it for one half it up and you have dinner or lunch for tomorrow.
The Antipasto , was a surprise dish, and misleading. It is huge and could have been shared by my table of four. Servings are generous. The surprise was how spicy this salad was and the vegetables such as the carrots, celery and I can't remember tasted pickled and a little spicier than I was expecting. I read the description and nothing describes iy as a spicy dish. If you want a salad on the wild side then give it a go.
Overall all a nice family run restaurant and if you haven't go in and give it a try.
I've eaten at Ciao Bella several times now and have never been disappointed. Last night a group of 7 people were absolutely pleased with their meal. I highly recommend Ciao Bella!

I have no clue why people are saying this place is bad because it is EXCELLENT! I order to go, so I cannot speak for all the wait staff, but the one older lady who works there is a peach! I usually get the Philly cheese steak hoagie with only mayo, peppers, onion, mushrooms, and cheese and it is off the chain. They usually put some red sauce on it, that is a staple in this area, so if anyone is giving them a bad review because of that you're in the wrong because around here every place does that. And I'll tell ya right now, their hoagies are BANGIN'! They are nice and big on amazing rolls, they taste fresh baked and they are just grand. The steak is delicious, the bread is nice and crisp on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside, they put the perfect amount of mayo and cheese (unlike Brothers Pizza, they put so much mayo and cheese its sticky), its the best place to get a Philly around here period. The fries are great too! Since they now deliver, they are even better!!! So whoever is giving them a bad review possibly because of ONE bad experience needs to seriously check themselves because EVERYONE IS HUMAN, we all have bad days, if you want to run your mouth about a great business with kickass food because one night the cook or waitress made a mistake you're a jerk. All in all, great food, get a hoagie they're awesome.

Good Food, but the waitress has to go!. We recently bought a cabin in Orrtanna Pa. We've been frequenting this restaurant almost every Saturday and/or Sunday. The food is very good. We took the food as take out back to the cabin and everyone agreed it was the best either sub, pizza or Stromboli we've had. The one waiter is very friendly and helpful. This past weekend however we encountered a waitress that I would have loved to see kicked out on her ear. First of all she was snooty and when I handed her the coupon that printed from our receipt from the day before she said, "where did you get this"? I said well I assume from here since it's on my receipt. She said, "when did you get it?" My thought does it matter when I got it? It was still good and also you should be happy that we came back. She finally used my coupon for the $5.00 off the purchase of $30 or more. We sat down to wait for our food and were told it would be awhile because there was only one person cooking EVERYTHING. That surprised me since 1. we called in our order prior to arriving and 2. another person was coming in and out from behind the kitchen bringing other food out. There was only 1 person making pizza's and Stromboli's but that was understandable because that was out front and only enough room for one cook. While waiting a food order came up for a table of waiting customers. She brought their food out w/ the help of this very nice waiter. The waiter asked the waitress if she needed anything else, etc and she looked at him in front of everyone and says, "no, just go away". She was rude to him, condescending to the customers and rude to the other waitress behind the counter. My only thought was, Honey waitressing is not your forte. Quit now and save yourself embarrassment later. I did ask the waiter of she was his supervisor and he said no. I said well then you need to tell your supervisor that SHE NEEDS TO GO!! We will be going back, and if she's there I will be saying something to her. There is no reason to act that way to anyone. Especially a paying customer and another employee trying to help you.

Good food but warning - their friendly disposition quickly changes if you use one of THEIR myhometownhalfoff.com coupons. They make you feel so uncomfortable that I'm to the point that I almost don't want to go back.

This place really surprised me. The owners were also serving tables so it was interesting getting to talk with them. They are planning all kinds of changes to the menu. The selection was already impressive for the Italian options. They are planning to add more steak options. Not a ton of seating so I suggest calling ahead on weekends. The prices are on the high side but worth the cost since the food is top notch. Go here and support local.
We were visiting the area for a family event. Ciao Bella was recommended by a friend. The food was fantastic; but better than that, was the service. Staff was engaging, attentive and proactive. It was truly service in the classic sense, yet they made it feel as though we were simply at their house for dinner. Thank you for being so kind! Highly recommend.
Took my uncle to Caio Bella for lunch and we were both extremely pleased with the excellent food and great staff! Very welcoming and service was spot on! Definitely not our last time here!
