The Station

This review is solely based on a short visit and take out experience. I went to The Station to order and pick up food for my family. The lady at the front desk was highly patient with my lack of organization while figuring out what to order. After that, I stayed and checked out some of the items. They have a lot of gluten and vegan items that are made locally or in the region, and that has its price. Don’t expect to be cheap. My order came in and I left. I thought our BBQ sandwiches were small but after tasting it, that thought went gone immediately. I’ve never eaten something so good like that. Five stars!

Adobe chicken tacos tasted really plain. The four slin apple slices had more flavor. My wife's chicken salad sandwich tasted much better with a pepper taste with grapes and nuts mixed in. Not many crafts at all. Mostly local food to take home. Everything in the store seemed a bit overpriced. A little bar on the side and very nice people working there.

One of my favorite restaurants now. They have delicious food and you can eat it knowing that it's all natural from local farms. I'm glad I tried it. I feel like I would've really been missing out if I wouldn't have eaten here. They have the best steak I've ever had, they're clean, and the staff are wonderful.

I was very disappointed with my experience at the Station. I ordered the Ferrari sandwich and the bread was hard and moldy. My family wasn’t thrilled with their sandwiches either. Additionally, the service was very very slow. I would recommend skipping this place and trying the next place on your list. My update after the owners comments, 1, 2, 3, 4. 1) The owner actually questioned me on the mold and said she didn't think it was mold and reluctantly remade the sandwich. She was clearly not horrified didn't have a sense of urgency, didn't offer a refund or even apologize. 2) I don't have any idea where her insulting comments about me, my two daughters and wife came from. What a freaking insult. 3) She says it was rush hour and that she was busy. We were the only customers in her shop when we arrived. There was one other group that already had there food and were sitting outside. No one else came in the store until we were waiting out side for our food. After waiting for 20 minutes, my wife went in and asked for an update on our food and it finally came out 15 minutes later. 35 minutes to make 4 sandwiches with no other customers around?? 4) The owner clearly doesn't like when customers don't like the service they receive, who would? But to make up stories & lies about customers is bad business. She should take reflection on my comments, understand the ratings and reviews are a great feedback loop that can help her try and improve her business. In my opinion, she should have apologized for the moldy bread and the lengthy delay in making my sandwiches and offered me a refunded.
