Soooo we stopped after church and ordered 4 plates… All 4 plates were disgusting… 2 fried chicken plates with collards and Mac. Chicken looks good and crispy but lacked flavor. Mac and cheese was flavorless. Husband veggie plate wasn’t even full (1/2 tray of collard greens), cabbage bland and flavorless. Dirty rice was immediately trashed! Probably the worst tasting thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. But the kicker was my Rib Tip Dinner for $20, I received 6 oven baked rib tips! Who serves 6 Rip Tips on an adult plate? I ordered Cornbread Dressing… Imagine my surprise to find a scoop of sausage meat with minimal cornbread in there! Again, who serves pork, in cornbread dressing with no warning? Nowhere on the menu does it state that the cornbread dressing is served seemingly without cornbread. Last but not least, my lima beans had so much salt on them, they were inedible! 2 of 4 plates were trashed! Almost $70 wasted and still have to cook Sunday Dinner! #Neveragain Definitely will drive to Riverdale and wait in line at Anna Laura’s or Mr. Lewis for quality soul food! #neveragain

I've eaten here once and it was so good the baked chicken and collard greens with yams were so good the best buffet/ soul food I've ever had!!! A little pricey but worth it! I'm waiting for them to open right now can't wait to get in my car and get some more definitely try this place you won't be disappointed

Stopped by here to get some soul food after leaving fun spot. Worst decision ever!! Really wish I ouldbe just eaten at fun spot. Food was overpriced and nasty. Even my kids did not want it. Plates were really light, for the price they could’ve had more food. Really disappointed, wanted to try something new and they failed. The young boys at the front over charged me for some of the food. Said because the manger wasn’t there and they were unable to take it off. Won’t be back.

You should be ashamed of yourself when you call this SOULFOOD. The only reason I tried your location is because BIG DADDY'S on Old National is closed for remodeling. I ordered Salisbury steak which I had to pay extra for rice when Salisbury steak is supposed to come with rice or mashed potatoes. When I got home I found out that you didn't even make the Salisbury steak, it's frozen Salisbury steak. Did you all actually make anything or is everything you serve out of a can or frozen. I will never come here again. My business will continue to go to BIG DADDY'S on Old national. They cook everything and some things are even cooked to order.

I ordered fried tomatoes, fried shrimp, Mac n cheese and plantains! I’m sorry to say this but EVERYTHING was over seasoned I tasted nothing but salt and vinegar…. Now if you call that soul food or cooking… then who ever told you that you can cook lied. Mac and cheese taste like box Mac and cheese with pure salt in it just awful will not be returning.
