Steak 'n Shake

I have always enjoyed Steak and Shake but this was the first time I've been in a while and gotta say they've upped their game! The service has always been great and staff always friendly but this time the burger was better than usual (I found their burgers were kind of soggy before). I ordered a medium fry and found out quickly that a small would have done lol they give a basket now. Overall great experience and I'll probably be going back more often than I have (haven't been to steak and shake in about a year I think?)

STAY AWAY AT DINNER TIME. Service at dinner is as bad as anything I've ever experienced. Last time went through the drive thru and was told to pull forward and wait. 20 minutes later I had to go in and remind them to start making my food. Was there for 45 minutes. Next time put in a curbside order. They said that they never got the order but waited 30 minutes to acknowledge that. Then brought he wrong order. Then finally started making the order. Took nearly an hour to get in and out. Did not even offer a discount either time. Unreal. 2 stars because the food is cheap and usually good, but will not be back.

I walked into this place and was completely ignored. By a manager. A sign said to order at the counter, so I waited for 10 minutes before leaving and going through the drive thru because they were taking their orders. It's fine to be busy, at least acknowledge I'm standing there and tell me you'll get to me. The food is an amazing value. I recommend it if they'll sell it to you.

Food was great, although I didn't like how we had to order at the counter. The menu was not displayed on the wall, you had to look at a paper menu that was placed on the counter. It took more time to order and was very inefficient as the people behind us could not see the menu until it was their turn to order. Also, I feel like time management is an issue as we did not get our milkshakes until we had finished our meals.

Place is going down hill bad. Burger Patty's so thin you might as well order a veggie sandwich. Forgot about an order, took 10 minutes to get out and it was wrong. So had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes to get something else. And the manager was very rude about it and pretty much told me if l didn't like it the door was over there. Definitely won't step foot in those doors again.

This visit was 20 times better than my last visit to the Rogers location 5 years ago. I didn't have to wait 30 mins for someone to take my order or to be prepared for me to enjoy. On this visit, the server was patient with me placing my order plus gave useful information on what meals I'd might enjoy. The portions were smaller than I expected, but I still enjoyed my meal.
