Owner, Maudie Schmidt, ensures a delicious meal every time I go in. I've not eaten a menu item I didn't like. My fave is a lightly fried oyster plate. And her beignets are to die for!
I went for lunch and had the catfish poboy and seafood gumbo. Both were delish, but really loved the gumbo most. Going back for the brunch.
Cafe Rue Orleans has become our go-to Cajun & Seafood place, located in NWA right on College Rd in Fayetteville AR. The food options are plenty and easily sharable. Seafood was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Wait staff is very friendly, attentive and courteous. The young lady who waited on us was very polite and recommended items. And we are glad that we ordered those dishes. It is very small restaurant but don't let that fool you as it definitely packs a punch. We have become a regular customers now.
We did Sunday brunch. It was our first time here. Since we are actually from Louisiana we did not know if this location could meet our expectations. It not only met, but exceeded our expectations. VERY good food in a neat location. Nice staff. We will definitely return to try dinner. A+.
This place was fantastic! Great portion size and attentive service. The Eggplant Napoleon and white chocolate bread pudding was phenomenal!!
First time eating here!!! It was crowded when we first got there. But I took it as a sign that it was a great place to eat lol. We order the Eggs Ponchartrain with Jazzy Potatoes and a mimosa 😊. Delicious!!!!!! Plan to visit again soon.
Catfish was awesome. Didn't try any of the specialties but I'm sure they were special. Little pricey.
Dont Judge the Restaurant by the Look of it on the outside.... "The Food is Delicious"!! This was my second visit, every time I go to Arkansas I will have Dinner there.
Super tasty food. It’s like a little taste of home. We got the boat, which is filled with fried oysters, crawfish, fish, crab cakes and shrimp on a bed of fries. Hubs got étouffée which was so good. And finish off with some beignets. Everything was filling and delicious.
