First time going. We got the fried pickles, BBQ wings, brisket plate, and chicken plate. Everything was really good. The sauces were amazing. I particularly loved the hot version. The sides were great. Best smoked wings and brisket I've had in a long time. Both were nearly perfectly cooked. Slightly dry for some bites but I mean like 99/100 score for me overall. Best BBQ I have had since moving here. Tried 4 others so far. Lastly, service was amazing. They were a little slow but still, waitress was A++. Will definitely be back.

Pretty good take out catfish dinner. Sassy's is right behind the Homewood Suites and a 2 minute walk. The meal was was hot an fresh the coleslaw was a lacking but it was tolerable the fresh cut fries were good. The catfish pieces were a little small but tasty. Price was not bad either.

So I only eat once a day , and I have this thing about trying different restaurants especially when it comes to BBQ. So I was highly disappointed I wasted my one meal of the day at this restaurant. For starters both of meats were luke warm to cold and more on the cold side. The ribs had little to no seasoning and wasn't very favorable. The brisket was just ok, it probably would have been better if it was warm. The Mac and cheese and baked beans was decent and tasted pretty good. Bottom line I would never go here for BBQ again.

I was apprehensive to try this place because of the bad reviews, but we had two tired, hungry kids and it was literally next door to our hotel so I went ahead and ordered. We aren’t from the south, but we have tried a lot of BBQ and Sassy’s was by far one of the best we have ever had. Everything was delicious, including the sauces. I can’t speak to the portions being historically bigger, as other reviews pointed out, but we felt they were on par with other BBQ places we’ve tried. In fact, I ordered more food than we needed based on those reviews and we ended up with too much food if that says anything. Hostesses were friendly and my food was ready when they said it would be. We would definitely stay in this location and eat here again.

I used to like Sassy's BBQ.
Okay I wanted to give a review of how disappointed I am here lately of Sassy's BBQ. It used to be a very good place you got a lot of good proportions for the money. But I went there today an order some brisket plate, potato salad and they don't have corn on the cob anymore it's creamed corn. But when I looked in the bag the portions that Sassy's is giving now are half the size of what they used to get...but the prices went up. All they say is inflation. Well they can keep it. I was shocked the portions of the sides of the potato salad and corn was all but maybe two Bites. They were literally in the sauce container that you get for the barbecue sauce. I kid you not. Not going to Sassy's anymore I'm not wasting my money on "sample-size" portions. I get better sample sizes at Sam's Club and it's free. I know why the parking lot is always empty lately now. Probably for the same reason. I went to Dickey's.
Update. No they are not the same size portions as before!!!

If they are going to push their beef brisket, they might want to learn a little more about how it's done. I tried it July 2,2022, it was stringy,tough,low on taste,the sauces suffer,baked beans need help,and the fresh cut fries could be fresher. NOT IMPRESED! I will say the service was good.

First time here. I got their BBQ nachos with the pork... they were delicious 😋. I got some kind of blueberry margarita which was delicious. My friends got the ribs, nachos, and the BBQ burger. All were very tasty. We also got the cheese n meat board which was quite appetizing. We will have to come back and try something different the next time. 😉
Tonight we had the brisket and it was amazingly delicious 😋. We really enjoyed it.
