Third Base Restaurant & Bar

We went on a Saturday around 12:30, not very busy, but only 3 servers. Trina was our waitress and she had a trainer-Tiffany who was so sweet, however we waited for 2 burgers, 5 wings, and a kids mac n cheese for almost an HOUR. We sat outside since it was too hot inside, and they had a whole section closed off. The wait staff is friendly, but the time it takes to get your food is ridiculous. Once we got our food it was good. But I don't see me coming back unless wait time improves.

Was very unimpressed. We came in the afternoon and no one was in the restaurant, yet every table we went to was dirty and the menus were dirty. The service was okay. The food tasted like it was bought at a stadium, which might have been the point, but even then I've had great food at a sporting event. Nothing special and not anything I would go out of my way to eat again especially when there are better restaurants downtown to choose from.

Twice now I have tried to eat here and been turned away. The first time was during dogwood festival, but I appreciated the hostess was honest upfront that they were under staffed that day and people were waiting a long time for food so we went ahead and left. However last night was my sisters B-Day and we tried to eat here. Went in a little after 10, was told it was no problem and to have a seat anywhere we like by one man then another gentleman gave us menus and got our drink order. Next thing you know a woman comes to the table and says they close at 1030 so the kitchen is already closed we can't get anything to eat. I asked if we could at least get a drink and she said yes then the bartender interrupted and said she wasn't making anymore drinks tonight. It was so rude and unprofessional to have us seated then change their mind about serving us. I will never attempt to eat here again.

Awful place. Do not let the recently rebranding/renaming of the restaurant fool you. The service is horrible and the food is often incorrect and/or bad. I've given this place a few opportunities but today will be my last visit. Picture this...walking in on a Sunday afternoon, the place is dead. It takes forever for them to greet you at the 'please wait to be seated' area. Then once you are sat down, be prepared for slow and 'flat' soft drinks. They will come and take you order, but they will not write down a single thing. Your food comes out, appetizers along side the main meal item. Half the orders are incorrect. The other half are not cooked entirely. I could go on but you get my point...I will NEVER recommend this place and will NEVER be going back, regardless of how many times they change the name of the joint.

We walked in and one of the waitresses informed us that the floor had been cleaned incorrectly the night before and was still greasy. The bathrooms were disgusting and we couldn’t find a sanitation rating anywhere. Before we even sat down to order our food or drinks we decided to leave. We informed the two waitresses that were there that we were leaving because the floors and bathrooms were unclean and unacceptable.

The worst place I have ever been to. The wait was 1 hour and 40 minutes and still no food, mind you there were only 20 people in the restaurant. We also had to ask 4 time for a refill on our drinks. They ran out of tea and pink lemonade so they served us water and still charged us for drinks. It even took them 15 minutes to run our card and that was with me standing in the doorway waiting. The tables are peeling and so dirty. The floors were covered in black gunk. Overall 1 Star is too many do not bother.
