There was a piece of metal in the lo mein, which appeared to be almost like a wire from my grandkids braces. The sweet and sour sauce was watered down. The fried rice tasted mushy/boiled with soy sauce on it. Absolutely the worst Chinese food ever! If there was a way to give a 0 or negative star, I would do it.

My daughter has decided this is her favorite ! The egg rolls are crispy, & very large in comparison to other places. Everything fresh & tasty. Quality food, fast, at a great price!

Food was delicious. Only giving 4 instead of 5 because one of our teriyaki chicken sticks had a hair stuck to it. I spent over $50 and was given a free small general tsos chicken and 2 liter. Will definitely be returning.

Located in a medium sized strip mall next to Food Lion lies Top China. If you are driving by and don't look up you will miss out on this delicious and hidden gem. Definitely worth turning around for and grabbing lunch as their prices and food cannot be matched. I was starving and decidee to get their chicken with broccoli lunch that came with a spring roll. The lady behind the counter which was partitioned in plastic from floor to ceiling was very nice and I was able to quickly place and pick up my order. I opened it up in the car and it was pipping hot, but it mostly had rice conpared to the broccoli and chicken. Despite this everything was good and had a great flavor. Was a little bit salty and small for me, but still some good food. Definitely will be coming back for more!

A few years ago we use to order from Top China once a week. In the beginning the food was very good and then we noticed a slight decline. We moved out of state and have just moved back. We decided to give Top China a try again, and I am very pleased we did.
The old owners are no longer there and there are new faces. The food once again has flavor. We have ordered once a week for the last month and the quality and service has been consistently great.
They even give you a free egg roll or crab Rangoon depending on how much you order- Old school Asian way of recognizing good customers. They also have a punch card.
If you are looking for some tasty Chinese food, give Top China a try.
One tip is that when you order for pick up add 5-10 minutes extra to the time they tell you. They get busy and your food may not be ready in the 15 minute window.
Also try the Chicken Noodle Soup, much tastier than won ton soup.

I'm quite disappointed after hearing from friends how good their food is. Like every Chinese Take-Out here in Fayetteville, this was a disappointment. The gal at the front counter taking orders was actually very friendly and spoke fluent English, so I really didn't understand why some of their customers couldn't understand her at all. One customer proceeded to talk with her as if she was "hard of hearing" and I was just shaking my head thinking, "she's right in front of you, you don't have to yell"... Anyways, after being entertained..I was really . forward to my order. My friend ordered the Kum Pao Chicken combo, which included plain Pork Fried rice and an Egg Roll. I ordered a pint of their House Special Lo Mein and the Bone-in BBQ Spare Ribs combo. You know, my friend was gushing about his meal...but actually he really doesn't seem to know what's really good Chinese food is or even what burnt food taste liked. The House Special Lo Mein was bland, too oily, tasted more burnt, no vegetables at all, and barely any meat. I believe it only had 3 baby shrimps, a few tiny chicken strips and where was the pork?...Oh yeah, it was so tiny I thought it was a burnt carrot. The BBQ Spare Ribs was too dry, seemed it had been sitting in the fridge and was placed in the salamander to be heated and the 3 pieces they gave me needed more marinate. Not worth the price for $9.99 The fried rice was oily and again no meat. The Egg Rolls were alright, a little greasy. Look, they seem to have their regular customers because they were quite busy, but liked I said their food isn't really what all the hype my friends have told me. I guess everyone has their own type of palate when it comes to what really great food is. I wouldn't recommend anyone this place, but maybe they were just having one of those days when they needed more help in the kitchen. I did see her parents doing all the cooking, as she and I had a nice conversation. I will maybe give them another try, but just to forewarn you, don't gush about good food to anyone till you really know how it's cooked. For the $29 for the meal I paid for, it really wasn't that great! I gave them 3 stars for their friendliness, but the cooking needs improvement.

I've had a lot of Chinese food in my life time. I feel they have the best tasty dishes and the people who take your order are always kind.

Changed my review. I was back today, not sure why, but it was NOT the Chinese food that I'm used to. Actually threw out my leftovers. General tso's wasn't even close to what it's supposed to taste or look like. Will NOT be back.
