Vietnamese Restaurant

This restaurant offers very friendly and fast service. My only complaint would be w/the pho I had today as my first time eating at this location. The broth wasn't as flavorful compared to many Vietnamese restaurants I've been to which was a minor upset. The beef was also slightly overcooked, gravitating on the very well done side. Traditional if you order rare beef as displayed on the menu (and as compared to other traditional Vietnamese restaurants), you'd have at least a medium cook on your beef. W/that being said, overall, the place is decent for its price and food. Not anything spectacular, but not terrible either.

My review is solely based on the Vietnamese portion. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food I'd try some of the other options as this is a Chinese food restaurant 1st and Vietnamese 2nd..don't let the sign fool you. I eat a lot of Pho and this was off palate for sure..to include a few key ingredients..even the Thai tea was off.

The service is great but the pho not so much. Broth lacked depth and flavor. When it was brought out all I could smell is fish sauce. The broth had too much of a sauce fish taste. It felt like fish sauce was added to enhanced the broth. The beef meat was not thinly sliced. Beef reminded me of the kind I'd get in a Chinese stir fry. The nice ladies servicing the tables are Koreans. The lady running the cashier is Chinese. At least one of the cooks in the back is Spanish. Chinese food might be good but I wouldn't come back for Pho.
