It was not at all what I expected based off the lack of decor and small business attention... but it was actually very delicious.
I would come again.
Fantastic time at Bombay Bistro with friends. Our server, Josh, was very attentive and knowledgeable. It was an honor to meet the owner, Kumar, and his lovely wife. The food was flavorful and authentic. An overall great experience. Looking forward to the next visit.
Great Indian food! My wife and I usually get a Bistro for two meal to go and it lasts us for two meals. I’ve only had the lunch buffet once but it was good as well. Our go to Indian food place in Fayetteville.
I like the pakoras, samosas and naan and I think by this point we’ve tried all the curries and liked them all.
Writing this review made me hungry!
This place may not look like much but has great Indian food. The naan, lamb vindaloo and especially the samosas and pakoras were delicious. This is our go-to Indian restaurant in Fayetteville.
One of the BEST restaurants in Fayetteville (possibly in all of NC!). And hands down the best Indian restaurant by far.
Their food menu is extensive. I haven’t had anything sub-par flavor. My favorites are the kadai mushroom paneer and the chicken korma (it has pineapples so it’s sweet and savory). The garlic naan is fluffy and light.
The rice pilaf is tasty, even though they serve their dishes with plain rice and pickled veggie salad, it’s a nice upgrade to get as well. The pilaf has green beans, corn, carrots, cashews, raisins and cinnamon and other herbs.
They serve free pappadum (like a large cracker) with 2 chutneys.
There’s an extensive and unique beer menu. Imagine beer from Brazil/ India/ Russia/ Cyprus and other places!
The wall of awards and a 100 percent sanitation rating are the icing on the cake.
The prices are very reasonable and to put a huge cherry on top, the owners (a husband and wife duo) are 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet! Definitely a feel-good mom and pop shop vibe with very friendly service. The guy is a lot of fun to talk and joke with.
Best Indian food I've ever had. This is my go to spot whenever I come to town. The staff is always very friendly, the food always tastes good, and the portions are huge. I recommend/drag this place to all my coworkers when we're in Fayetteville.
