Steak 'n Shake

Took forever to be seated and then 10 minutes after we were seated we finally got our drink order taken. Our food was out before our shakes were even started. The male cook seated more customers then the wait staff. The wait staff was more worried about the tip money left on the tables and who they belonged to then seating people and taking orders. I use to love going to Steak ‘n Shake but it is going down hill very fast!!

I get that the entire world is short staffed, but it doesn't fix the issue that I went yesterday for lunch, I get an hour for lunch break, and after being seated went 10 minutes without any servers saying a word to me, just walking past even though I'm ready to order. Eventually one waitress noticed and asked if I had my order taken and I said no, she said I'll find your server. 5 minutes later finally she came back and said she'd take care of me anyways. Then I went another 25 minutes longer and still hadn't been served yet. I wouldn't have been irritated if I had not had 2 older ladies come in at the same time as me, I even held the door for them, and be seated 2 tables over, had their order taken as soon as they sat down and we're served 10 minutes after I had finally had my order taken. So I wouldn't have had any issues had someone jumped on it. Eventually I had enough after 40 minutes, got up and left because I had to go back to work soon. I guess that's what taco bell is for.
