Mexican Village

This is a local favorite of mine but this location fairly new. The restaurant is large and tonight maybe due to bad weather out not crowded. The server was so friendly and welcoming. We ordered a flight of tacos and shared then we had a very delicious fried ice cream dessert. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. It's a big place and you could easily eat with a large group here.

It had been quite some time since I had visited Mexican Village. The south Fargo location is beautiful. Very spacious. Clean. Great and friendly service. New menus. I had my favorite supreme buritto and it was so good. Love the chops and salsa too. Would highly recommend. I will definitely visit in the future!

Went there to eat dinner on Saturday night. Normally this is a great restaurant with great food but that was not our experience last night at all. It was so cold in there that three of us kept our jackets on and at one point I had to use mine to cover my legs. Our waitress was less than attentive and at one point came up missing for about 20 straight minutes. The food itself was pretty good but it came out lukewarm and it was so cold where we were sitting that within minutes we were eating cold food. We ended up getting to go boxes for our food because my wife and I each ate about five bites and it was too cold to enjoy after that. We paid more than $75 last night for an almost completely unenjoyable experience. We even joked to the waitress at one point that she should start a fire next to our table to warm us up.

1pm on 4/2/22. Waited over 15 minutes in the bar to even get acknowledge. Finally, the server came over and gave us chips and salsa and left and didn't say anything. Waited another 5-10 minutes for her to ask what we wanted to drink and I made sure to order right away otherwise we would be waiting even longer. Ordered cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Got burnt rice and beans and a CHICKEN enchilada. I don't eat meat, so my lunch was ruined. Also, never got checked up on for refills or anything. Server didn't seem happy to be there. Big waste for around $40.

I ordered online and got a reply email that said my order was taken and I should wait for a confirmation email for pickup time. 40 minutes later I called and called because they kept hanging up on me to finally get an employee that tells me they aren’t doing online orders because they are short staffed. Used to be one of my favorite places to go but now I won’t be back. They could of posted something on their website that said so instead of wasting my time!

Our friend liked his burrito a lot. The salsa was ok but not hot at all. It was more like tomato sauce. My husband and I shared the Fajitas. We thought the meat had good flavor but don't get enough tortillas. The beans were nasty due to being over cooked so very dry. The rice was the same way with it being to the point of crunchy. Our sever was very forgetful and we had to ask for things several times. All in all we wouldn't go back for something that is just ok.
