Definitely a hidden gem. We drive by this place every day on the way home from work and decided to randomly stop in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Clean. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent authentic food. Good margaritas. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Harford County.
I rate 5 stars because I can’t think of anything bad at any of my experiences. The food is fantastic. Great taste. Chips and dips are awesome. Prices are very affordable. And if you love spicy food like I do, they have some great really spicy hot sauces. Quick very friendly service! I had the carne asada tacos this time and they were very good . Great place great food overall, can’t possibly be disappointed .
excellent- loved going here!! tacos are spectacular, ingredients are so fresh and it was such a cozy environment. really felt like comfort food in a comfortable place. the queso is also really good, definitely at least ordering that from the appetizers. service is very fast and efficient, i was absolutely amazed by how quickly everything came out. definitely coming back!!
Ever wonder what street tacos taste like in Central America? Just like these. I've travelled enough in that region of the world to know good food, and this place pulls it off. I ordered three of the beef and chorizo tacos and their specialty nachos, which were way too much for one person. Great service too. Only the atmosphere is a little understated.
A very big surprise for where located, smack in the middle of the woods. The food was super good and a cozy atmosphere. The complimentary chips and dip were very good. Warm chips, nice salsa and a good tasting mystery sauce.
Drinks were good and not cheap tasting. The bell peppers in the nachos could been sautéed just a little more, but no take away from the meal. Shrimp tacos were the best I’ve had in a while. Definite recommend.
Ordered: House margarita, Tacos Tolteca Nachos, tequila sunrise, and chipotle mayo shrimp tacos.
This was the best Mexican food I have ever had! I had fajitas (order additional tortillas because you get so much! My partner got the cheese chimichanga, and he barely had a third of it — it was so huge and tasty!! Chips were delicious. Topped off the night with fried ice cream — so yummy!!
This was a really good restaurant. Our server was polite and regularly checked up on us. The ambiance is very authentic as well. It looked like a family run business but I am not 100% sure. The food was very delicious and the prices are more than reasonable. The quantity can give you a food coma. Overall the experience was very good. Will definitely visit again.
Overall the food was pretty good. The guacamole was pretty light on avacados being they only used 3/4 of one avocado. The ceviche was good along with the dragon burrito.
The food was delicious and the service was great. We will definitely be back.
