Fairborn Family Diner

This was our first time to visit this establishment. You seat yourself as we did, and our waitress was very slow in greeting with menus and taking our drink order. Maybe about 10 minutes. There is quite a selection on the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don't order the chicken, it was over-cooked and very crunchy. Hardly any meat on it. But that doesn't mean it would happen to the next diner who ordered it. I'll give them a second chance. Maybe next time I'll give a 5 star rating

A family friend suggested this diner a few months ago, so we tried it. The first visit was so good we came back, and have been back several times since. It has consistently been friendly, fast and freshly made to order GOOD food at very reasonable prices! The menu choices will please nearly everyone's appetite from a tenderloin sandwich to prime rib. They have daily specials as well. We get tired of the mainstream restaurants and this Fairborn gem is worth the drive to visit and leave feeling satisfied, in addition to supporting a locally owned and operated business. Give them a visit and you will agree!!

This was my first time in a long time to eat there. Service was good. Clean. We ordered the Prime Rib. I love Prime Rib I've ate at other places. This was not good. I was not happy with it. A quarter inch cut if that much . No taste. Some kind of watery liquid floating around the plate. I watched as other customers around us food was delivered. Sandwiches and salads. Those selections looked good .I will go back and try those. But I was really disappointed on the prime rib.

There is quite a selection on the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was tasty but the rueben sandwich could have used just a little more sauerkraut, and my husband had the roast beef and cheese melt, which he didn't care for the rye bread. He found out afterwards that he could have had his choice of 3 other types of bread. The fries are really, really good. We will visit again to try another item on the menu. This place could also use some cosmetic fixing up on the interior. Their prices are reasonable. They also gave us a retired military discount.

Very much enjoyed my first ever visit to this establishment in Fairborn Ohio. Pleasant atmosphere with a nostalgic feel. The food is delicious tasting with a great variety of items on their menu to order. Drinks were plentiful as the amazing friendly wait staff kept the patrons happy with their attentiveness to their needs. I can't wait to return and try another great selection from their menu.
