Awesome Burger!. I'm not sure whats in the "Nutburger" patty but, it was awesome! pared with a house sauce, pickles, tomatoes, romaine, and sprouts. As a professional cook (non-vegetarian) I recommend to those skeptical of this cuisine. Give it a try. you don't have to fit the stereo type to enjoy this food. Plus your helping a local business as well.
Not much to say but been going here for years too. It's delish! My husband who does not care for nuts and loves his meat loves the nutburgers here. Crazy good eats here a definate must for those visiting Sacramento as for the locals I doubt you need any convincing! :)
TBM. My pick: Grilled cheese sandwich with two slices of cheese, chips with salsa and a peanut butter shake, so delicious!!!

Yumm. I am NOT vegetarian. I am an unapologetic carnivore. The nutty burgers are great! Very filling with a little kick. Grab something good to eat, and walk around the corner to chicken-watch.
Winter hours suck Sunday to Tuesday 10:30 -4:00 But Wednesday - Friday it's still 10:30-8 I still love their food soo much!
This place has the BEST Nut burgers and shakes. I'm not a vegetarian but will take a nut burger over a regular hamburger any day.
Wonderful!. I have been coming here for well over 10 years for their delicious food! I even lived out of the area for 5 years and would make sure I ate here when I came to town. I love the nut tacos and nut burgers! The chickens crack me up! I only wish they were open later!
Great!. I really love all their food. I don't get to go as often as I would like because they are a tad pricey for a students budget, but they are worth it. It would also be nice if they would publish a nutritional fact sheet, it would go along with their health image.
If I could I would give 10/5 to this place. they have the most most delicious, scrumptious, mouth watering, finger licking nut burgers. You should definitely try this. I can’t stress enough on how yummy the nut burger is but you should be prepared to wait as it is always crowded but definitely worth the wait.

They are committed to good nutrition and whole foods. They use no meat or animal products such as lard or gelatin. With only natural ingredients.

Great place for a veg burger with their nut patty. This has been in the same location since the late 70s. Food comes out of summer quickly, but certainly is not fast food. And that's okay with me. Nice outdoor seating. The parking lot is a bit tight, but with other places to park in the street, which I recommend.
My guy took me here bc I’m a vegetarian, and I’m eternally grateful he did bc the nut burger is superb, and surprisingly better than a meat burger. Would return to try something new and get the same thing again, and try the brownie 🍔🍔🍔
The food: Excellent... but that's about where it ends.
Customer Service: Don't expect to be greeted. The first and only question will be 'What would you like to order'. It's sad to say, but no one there seems to want to be there; you can feel it.
Wait Times: You'll wait 30-60 minutes on average, regardless of the line. Wait time are among the longest I'd ever experienced.
Environment: You'll enjoy a nice outdoors seating area with room for about 8-10 sets of people. Chickens may or may not pay you a kind visit!
Summary: All that to say, I still find myself coming here 2-4 times a month. The food is that good in my opinion. I literally catch myself thinking about their mushroom millet burger throughout the day, and wishing I could stop what I'm doing and head over to Sunflower lol.
I love this little place. I’ve been three times. First time got the nut burger, it’s good. Last two times got the patty melt, and it’s DELICIOUS. Now I’m too nervous to order anything else because I like the patty melt so much. Their shakes are yummy too. Definitely expect a wait. One time it was 2 hours. But the other two 25mins.
A classic vegetarian restaurant in the heart of fair oaks! I enjoy walking around the park and coming here after for a healthy lunch or snack. My favorites are the super nut burger or the super avocado and cheese. The ingredients here are always fresh and I enjoy taking my vegetarian and vegan friends here!
The burrito was outstanding. The pinto beans were done correctly,at least as far as I know of how pinto beans are to be cooked. The carob shake was a decent accompaniment to the burrito. Service was fast and courteous. Oh, and everything is organic, vegetarian/vegan menu options, double+plus-good. Definitely a place I see me returning to.
