Staff was very friendly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Food is really delicious. Samosas are superb and the korma and kabob was outstanding. Overall great experience!

Staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and they had a fantastic and reasonably priced lunch special. I ordered the veggie special, which I’d recommend.

Staff was extremely friendly and personable. The food was incredible. I have never had Nepalese food before but I went with my Nepali friend and she said this is the best place she has tried in the area. Incredible portion sizes that are enough to share!

As a resident of Evanston for several years now, I’ve been to this restaurant many times. The food is south Asian ( Nepali and Indian ) but more “Americanized” ( read : a bit on the bland side of things )to suit the audience for the restaurant. But, it still manages to get the balance of spice and flavors for the most part. This time we had the momos, pakoras, tandoori roti and mutter paneer. Was a little bit disappointed that the paneer wasn’t as soft as it is usually. But otherwise, the food tasted good and service was quick too. I’ve been to their buffet lunch ( pre covid) on several occasions and it was a great value for money. They also have a 10% wildcard discount for northwestern students.
They also had a strange mixture of ceramic and plastic dinnerware , which wasn’t the case pre-covid. Not sure why. The paneer came out in a copper bowl, the rotis, momo and pakoras and all the dips came out in disposable plastic containers.

Walk into a dining room festooned with fancy bronze chandeliers accompanied by rosewood decor and the hostess and wait staff will greet and serve you with extreme politeness. The first dish to the table was Mount Everest biryani. Extraordinary flavor. The next dish to the table was a chickpea dish which was extremely tasty, but just a little too salty; I returned it and they offered to replace it multiple times, however by then I was stuffed and could not eat it. It was taken off the bill and we left extremely well fed and very happy. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Indian food; the flavors are magnificent.

The food was delicious. I did miss that they don't serve coffee or tea cause I was cold and needed a warm up. But the place was great and I look forward to visiting them again.

Amazing lunch platter! We came in as a group and I ordered a lunch platter with chicken vindaloo and aloo gobhi. With rice, a piece of tandoori chicken, and naan (recommend upgrading to garlic naan), the meal was very well rounded and enjoyable. The Mango Lassi also helped a lot to ease the spiciness, a wonderful drink to order! As an American, this is definitely a solid South Asian restaurant!

We were overcharged, called but no refund of the overcharge offered. The website says rice included with all entrees but we were charged extra. Not much for some but on a tight budget it’s important. Also, chicken tikka masala was very bland. Garlic naan was delicious though!
