Baltimore Snowball

I LOVE this place. Being that I’m from Louisiana... this is the next best thing to home. Customer service is AWESOME. Although the small drive thru/walk up stand may get busy... they still treat EVERY customer with respect. They’re priced right and you get a nice bang for you buck. My favorite has been 1/2 strawberry syrup, 1/2 marshmallow syrup with condensed milk at the bottom and on top of my snowball. I highly recommend BALTIMORE SNOWBALL to anyone whoever sweats on a warm or cold day. Yes, I have visited on a rainy day and I was still served with a smile 😍❤️❤️❤️!!!

This place is awesome! Snowballs like the East coast makes them, which are softer in texture than a sno-cone. There are tons of flavor choices, plus add ons like ice cream in the middle and lots of topping choices. They also have different sizes, and many combo ideas, so there is definitely something for everyone! My favorite is peach and coconut flavored snow with condensed milk, second favorite is spearmint snow with brownie ice cream in the middle and condensed milk topping. Hubby likes to get the seasonal combos, one of which is pictured here. They are closed on Sundays, unfortunately, so keep that in mind when you visit.

This is a great spot. The location was perfect and it is a drive-up/walk-up spot so it is very accessible. The shaved ice we had was tremendous. Four folks in our car purchased something and loved it. Flavors to try: coconut + vanilla + pineapple. Pineapple only. Pineapple + butter pecan ice cream. The absolute BEST (and one of the most popular at this location) is: Apple Pie A La Mode. It was very very good. Lastly, the business is family owned and operated. The owner helped us out this evening. He was very nice and has an awesome Baltimore accent. Highly recommend this place.

I absolutely LOVE this place and have been coming here for years. I've been a preschool teacher for three years and every summer I take my class on field trips. This year I was bound determined to take them to Baltimore snowball. With 24 kids ages 5 to 11, I expected it to be a little bit chaotic. However I let the employees know ahead of time and I had a list prepared of what we were ordering. With the menus posted outside, I drove by and took pictures so I could talk to each of my kids about what flavors they wanted. There's chairs to hang out and also a grassy area so we were able to sit down and enjoy our snowballs. I usually only get the Velvet Elvis but decided since it was a hot day I would try something a little different. I got lime ice cream with lime and pina colada flavored snow with marshmallow topping. Oh my gosh! It was absolutely amazing! I definitely will always be a fan of the Velvet Elvis though! The staff is always amazing. The owner is awesome! I love that they have branched out to so many different locations. When my kids are playing baseball at jesmond Dene for Escondido American Little League, I get the the pre-packed snowballs at the snack bar. When I'm in Ocean Beach at my mom's I go down the street to Stumps grocery store and get the pre-packed snowballs. But nothing beats getting them freshly-made! If you haven't been here, what are you waiting for? I am literally walking out the door to go get one right now! LOL.
