Brigantine Escondido

We came on Valentine’s Day and it was 3 of us ! We where seated right away. We got the shrimp 🍤 appetizer with the sauce and everything was fresh ! We ordered tacos 🌮, salads and everything came out pretty fast. ❤️ I really enjoyed the service and parking was easy ! Definitely recommend this place ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp is fantastic. Inside is too loud to have a conversation, but outside is fantastic. Heaters to keep you comfortable, no wind, great lighting, water feature making up part of one wall. Inocente was our server and reviewed the gluten free options on the menu. An absolutely wonderful evening..

Found this place after a long day at the San Diego zoo. Lots of food reviews and rightfully so. Started with the calamari which looked like mozzarella sticks but we're great when paired with the red spicy sauce(not super spicy but a good kick). My Wife ordered the tacos and I ordered the crusted mahi mahi. The vegetables were really really delicious. (Didn't take a photo but brother in-law highly suggests the swordfish)

My wife and I stopped in on Thursday June 2nd for a quick (7:45pm) dinner. This was our second visit to this location and this time we sat in the bar due to the immediate open seating that was available. Great casual atmosphere and tasty Bar Plates. The Grilled Sonoran Swordfish Taco was our favorite. The Brig Classic Calamari Strips are served with a yummy Jalapeño white sauce that is definitely a “must try”. We will swing in again the next time we visit the Escondido area. Maybe next time we will linger a bit longer and enjoy something from the libation menu as well.

This experience was truly out of this world- my man chose well for our dinner date on Valentine's Day! The waitstaff are very courteous and polite. Didn't take long for us to wait for our table. Tip: we strongly recommend you place a reservation ahead of time, especially if you choose such a day to eat dinner 🍽️. We were served by Kimberly for a short time, who was very understanding of my man and I not too fond of beer or wine, since we prefer soda lol. So to any future customers who aren't fond of alcohol, no worries, they got you covered 😉. Then we were served by Maria, who was very observant and lovely- she helped us feel like we were her niños, calling us corazón ❤️. The wagyu burgers were AMAZING! They literally melt in your mouth so quickly, the fries are salty, but not to the point of drying out your mouth, which is awesome! The whipped butter for the bread is so good, my man was really impressed by the bread 😁. Needless to say, we will return there for another date night in the near future 💋. Thank you, ladies!!
