FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY!
….Nikki and Nikita are Unbelievable and deserving of All the praise in the world, We’ve driven by this restaurant a million times and let me tell you for our first time stopping in, This couldn’t have been a better experience and it was truly all because of them, The Super Hot Pepper Burger was out of this World, But it was the Super Friendly Greeting at the door by Nikita, and Her Mom’s Service that was second to none that really makes this award winning Chef’s Heart happy, I grew up in the back of a diner, Under my mothers apron strings, so, seeing something like this, and a fabulous duo like this mother and daughter pair of Rockstars, Makes me look forward to the next time we return and believe me, It will be soon, and In the meantime I’ll be telling everyone I know about the Best Burgers and Service Ever and How they’re all under one roof at This Very Special Cloister Diner that has such exceptionally special people working hard there to make the guests’ experience a memorable one like mine, and it was all because of Nikki and Nikita, I hope they’re rewarded with every bit as much of a happy career there as they make their guests’ Hearts Happy and looking forward to returning Soon!

Food was served fast and hot. Soup was probably homemade. I was pleasantly surprised my Rueben was served open face, but the portion was so generous it was the only way to eat it! My server Bridget was delightful. Good atmosphere with a lot of ‘regulars’ and plenty of parking in rear.
I have ordered food from this place through Door Dash and have eaten here a few times and I must say that I am never disappointed. I tried their homemade rice pudding recently and it was very good! I recommend trying it if a pudding comes with your meal. I love ordering their breakfast items. My favorite is the egg white omelette with feta cheese, home fries and bread. I recently also tried their chopped steak with gravy & mushrooms. Delicious! Got a side of steamed green beans and they weren’t canned, they were actual fresh green beans. Very pleased and will be a continued customer.
Went here with friends for Saturday breakfast. We could immediately tell the place was recently renovated and nice looking inside. With that said they seem to be working out some kinks, I noticed one of our seats was a little loose - it wasn't a big deal though. Avocados were not quite ripe and home fries were a bit chunky compared to what I am used to, but the food was still pretty good overall! Staff seemed polite and efficient.
We heard good things about this place but from me, you are going to hear GREAT things about this place!
We ordered the Stuffed Flounder with crab. This consisted of 2 flounder fillets on top of 2 massive crab cakes. The tartar sauce really set the flounder off woth a bit of sweetness. We also had the option for soup or salad, 2 sides and pudding for dessert.
This was a delicious meal and the service was outstanding. The entire family was very friendly and I believe that we will be returning in the future. Thank you for the great meal!
Excellent food and service. Will definitely go back. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars today was that the avocado in the salad was hard and didn't taste right. I had the summer salad with grilled chicken and my wife had the crab cakes with macaroni and cheese and stewed tomatoes. Very good.
Typical diner fare - wide variety of American food options. Service was super fast and the place appeared to be very clean. The food was tasty and prices were very reasonable. I'm not from the area, but I would eat here again when passing through.
Every employee was friendly did awesome with the children. Very family friendly. Nice calm atmosphere amazing food. Will definitely go back
I've been here twice now and though the food is pricier than the original Cloister Restauraunt, I was absolutely amazed at how much you get for the price. It was very delicious and though I miss the retro feel of the old Cloister, I appreciate the new, modern make-over that they instilled into the place. As the say, out with the old and in with the new. Will be returning 😁 and totally recommend!
This was our first time here and how we could have lived in this area so long without having stopped by is a travesty- it was amazing! Everyone was more than friendly and polite, our food was outstanding, and the prices are super great too. I had the stuffed flounder mini meal and expected it to be small but I have half of mine wrapped up in the fridge.
We can't wait to come back- thank you so much!!!!
