St. Elizabeth Cafe

Everyone from the receptionist in admitting to the medical staff in pre-op, Er swat nurse, and IR tech and even the lab tech were wonderful...they made me feel like I was the most important person there. They were professional and communicated everything they were going to do and did it very well. St Elizabeth Hospital and staff, YOU GOT IT RIGHT! Keep up the great work!

I love all my interactions at the physical hospital, and I had my first child there and it was a great experience. The 3 stars comes from them continuously not having my correct health insurance information in. For my last visit, despite giving my physical insurance card before the appointment they billed my old insurance. I had to call 3 times before it was fixed and each time I called the person would assure me it was fixed. Making appointments for standard pregnancy procedures has also been a nightmare with each person I talk to seeming like they understand but can’t actually help me. I think this is an issue with the chain of hospitals since they’re the one you get when you call, not specifically St Elizabeth.

My orthopedic surgeon required an EKG prior to hand surgery. So i called St. Elizabeth to see if I needed to make an appointment. The receptionist transferred me down to imagery where I inquired about the EKG. The gal checked with the technician and told me I can just come in. I was there in 20 minutes, checked in it the front desk, was sent sown to imagery where I was promptly called in and 20 minutes later I was on my way out the door. Smooth as silk 🤗 By comparison I've been waiting over a week for my cardiologist to return the Dr.s request for me to be off of my meds for 4 days Pryor to the operation. Consequently, now I've had to postpone the operation for another week and a half. So much for promptness at the Pulse Heart Institute. 😬

The only reason and I mean the absolute ONLY reason I’m leaving a 4 star review is because of the woman that did my MRI. She was amazing and I truly wish that all of the staff at this hospital were like her. I’ve had so many bad experiences..between being treated a certain kind of way because of something seen in my medical history or just being told that there is no reason for some of the symptoms I have had and that my lab results are all normal only to find out the following day that’s as far from the truth as it could have ever been! Seeing red flags next to like 4 of my results that say “need further immediate review” is quite upsetting to me. If I am able to I will not be seen at this hospital again and would rather go elsewhere even if it’s an extra 20 miles it would be worth it to me to be treated like an actual human being and not Judged or looked down on.

Had an echo and a ct and was waiting so long I had to send my husband to his appt 20 miles away. As a result I was there from about 11 to 5. After the tests I waited in the cafeteria where I was treated so nice by the dark haired waitress. She was wonderful. Infact all the technicians were too. It wasn't their fault my doctor added another test .
