Oshio Teriyaki

Food was okay. We had the combo plate with Teriyaki chicken and Mongolian beef. We also had the fresh spring roll. The chicken was good the Teriyaki sauce was not to sweet. The Mongolian beef was okay light taste what made that dish was the veggies that were stir fried with it. I cannot say I would recommend the spring rolls. Although a light flavor the peanut sauce was sort of bland. What made the dinning experience great was the lady that took our order. She was really nice and friendly to us. Give this place a try and let me know what you think.

I ordered the chicken yakisoba and there was so much sauce that it spilled out into my plastic to-go bag - I don't think I've ever known yakisoba to be particularly saucy. The veggies also tasted a little musty, like they were on the verge of going bad, but they were edible. In the plus side, the gyoza were delicious and the vinegar-based sauce that came with them was just right.

The food was pretty good and would have gotten 4 stars, but they drench the food with sauce. We ordered chicken and beef teriyaki (the beef actually tasted fabulous but the abundance of sauce really detracted from the enjoyment). We ordered a Mt Rainier sushi roll which would have been good, but it also had too much sauce RECOMMENDATION: ask them to put the sauce on the side. You will thank me later.
