The service was great there was 6 people in my party and our waitress kept our drinks full and was very friendly. The food is great I had fried jumbo shrimp 🦐 basket and it was really good.most of the time when a shrimp basket it’s mostly small heaven breaded not these. They they had a light basket type breading with some black pepper in it to give a nice kick which I like. The other people with one had soft shell crab 🦀 sandwich looked really good 3 had oysters basket same type of breading as the shrimp 🦐 and other had the same as me. Also ordered a side of French fries 🍟 and it was a big basket of them. The bill was under $150.00 which I didn’t think was too high since we all had seafood one person had a glass of wine and rest of us just had soft drinks. Also a bowl of Maryland crab soup was served it was very good too and lots of old bay in it yum! Will differently go there again.
Rubes Crab Shack was on point 100% with quality of food and service. The young lady that waited out table never let us run low on drinks or food. She was one of the best I have ever had going out to eat. The owner even came to our table to make sure things were good. I will come back again and again. Thanks to The owner Robin for making our dinning so delightful.
Really don't have anything to complain about. We ordered a Captains Platter, fried oysters, crab cake, fried mushrooms, and Maryland Crab soup. Prices were on par for those kind of dishes, and it tasted very good. Worth the drive for decent crab cakes.. place was clean.
Always great food and great service. My 7 yr old granddaughter says she would give it 100 stars.
Food is always great!!! We get the #3 all you can eat which includes Maryland hard shell crab, king crab legs clusters, fried and steamed shrimp, hush puppies and fries, soup and salad bar. My only advice, eat the hard crab first because it just doesn't taste as good after the legs.
The crabs legs are big and very good but they did get cold fast.
Crab soup is excellent

Nice off the beaten path restaurant. If you love hard shell crabs, then this is the place for die hard crabbers. If you can down between 16-21 crabs, then its well worth it. If not, well It's still a great time.
