A colleague and I actually dined at the restaurant and it was AMAZING!! The Food and Ambiance was Wonderful, but it was the SERVICE that tied it ALL Together and made for a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!! A VERY SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to ALL of the STAFF to include the Owner who stopped by our table and chatted for a while. Finally, our Server Laura (?) Was PHENOMENAL!!

I absolutely love going to the Hill Top for all of my special occasion dinners. I celebrate every wedding anniversary here. The service is always the best, and so is the food!
The last time we went, there was a band which was actually a nice addition to the night. The cocktails were amazing, the rolls we had were mouth watering, and everything we ordered was on point, just as it has always been.
I love eating out on the deck, as it provides a wonderful view. I highly, highly recommend anyone visit here that is in the area, or going through the area. It is wonderful.
The food was delicious! We went on a day where there was some smoke the views outside were still breathtaking.
Some of the food items were forgotten but the server was very polite and explained that the new point of sale system had caused some unforeseen issues and stated that she should’ve double checked. I was very impressed by that as I have been a server for a long time and I know how hard it is to go to a table and admit that there order is messed up. At the end of the day, they made everything right and the food was delicious!!!
My family has been going to Hill Top since the 1950s. We have never been disappointed. One of our daughters had her wedding reception there. The service has always been excellent. The menu offers a wide variety of selections and the view from the hilltop location is beautiful.
We attended for a work event recently, everything was FABULOUS!
I appreciate their attention to food allergies. Gluten Free options are abundant and delicious.

Husband and I both ordered steak, mine was cooked how I asked. Had to send husband's back because wasn't cooked to order. No big deal. Waitress, Laura, was absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best servers I've ever had. It was a busy night and she still managed to stay on top! There was even an event going on tonight and the service was amazing. Will definitely be going again and will recommend to anyone and everyone!!!!
Always a great atmosphere. Staff are always attentive. Eating out on the back deck is always nice.

Every time we've been to the Hill Top, it's always been a great time. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and conscious of their guests. The views from there are just breathtaking, you get the entire valley of Elmira. And if you're there after nightfall the city lit up at is just as pretty. The Hill Top is very popular so be very patient if you go when they are busy, but it's all worth it when the food is arrives.
