Had dinner with the family, good food, good portions, great waitstaff, funny, personable, attentive.

Wonderful food and large portions, friendly staff and service. Quiet atmosphere unlike going to a chain place. Ten bucks for the largest club sandwich I've ever tried to eat (half came back to the hotel room), oh and that includes chicken soup *and* fries. Kids enjoyed the lentil soup and bonus ice cream.
We're just visiting the area briefly; if you live here, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
This is a great family restaurant that we went to after a failed attempt to get into the Zoo Lights at Brookfield Zoo. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The food was excellent and the portions were more than enough. Three out of the four adults needed a box for leftovers. The baked french onion soup is one of the better ones in the area. We will be visiting here again very soon.
Still has a great selection of food. Had the most delicious Monte Cristo and cream of chicken rice soup in months. My friend had a Julianne salad and their chicken soup. Had to take a container for the salad for later. Same great service and friendly atmosphere.
