Red Lobster

An old time favorite of mine but hadn't been here in years. The host was attentive & friendly and the food delicious. Was going to order a Rock lobster & Shrimp Scampi but winded up getting the daily special of two Rock lobsters with two sides. Although it took 15 minutes to get change back for a $100 bill I gave to the waitress.

This Red Lobster is in Queens Center Mall on the first floor it right cross the way from Annie's Pretzel and a candy stand the place was not packed we were seated right away and the waitress very nice and served us well it a good place to visit if you're in the area for brunch, lunch or dinner 🦞🦞 🧃🧃😋😋

So we say right outside the kitchen. The plates looked delicious of all the staff only two wore gloves. Our waiter had a mask covering only his mouth. I ordered the Wednesday special, a 7oz steak with a lobster tail and two sides. For sides I also ordered the house side salad and lobster topped baked potato for an additional $4.49. The kids meal ordered was chicken fingers with fries and 🍎 juice. The wait was long for a.server then for the food. As soon as he came we ordered about 35 minutes later the complimentary cheddar biscuits came fresh out the oven they were good. They were out of a out three dressings. The server appeared with a salad he put together lettuce, red onions, croutons and a bunch of cheddar cheese and no utensils. We sat for another 20 minutes with the salad looking at us. The ranch was not tasty. I had to return it and request a new one dressing on the side and no cheese but tomatoes. The result was great. The food was delicious except the waiter brought mash potatoes not very good with two tiny pieces of lobster for the lobster topped potatoes. Requested the baked potato and the micro pieces of lobster could not cover 2% of the.ptoato. The steak was cooked to perfection. The lobster tail was slightly over cooked but still with the clarifies butter delicious. The drinks and desserts looked delicious we did not order. If go be prepared for the wait. I attribute it to all the errors made delayed time. But it a great meal.

Family friendly restaurant. Good food, friendly staff, clean environment. Depending on the day and time, wait time for a table could be between 10 - 45 minutes so plan accordingly or use the wait list on the app. Update (September 2020) With the restrictions of dining out due to COVID-19, we opted for delivery via Ubereats. Not disappointed at all. Food came well packaged. Good size portions and just as delicious!

Really like the nice private dark settings when you sit in your booth. The gentleman who served us was attentive to our needs and answered our questions with patience. Explained how things worked since I hadn't bee to Red Lobster in over a year or so. The food was well presented and tasted great. I did find however that the endless shrimps I ordered weren't as hot as I wanted/expected them to be. I went on a Sunday before 3-4pm so there wasn't a waiting list. As we ordered and ate our food it got very packed. I'll be going over again soon and definitely letting them know about the temperature of the food. 😁
