Great place. Owner is friendly and accommodating. We stopped in for lunch and got pizza, Italian Sandwich and Italian Wedding Soup. Everything was delicious and made fresh. They definitely use quality ingredients and unique flavor combinations to elevate their offerings.

River Street market is everything to me!!! The sandwiches and pizzas are the best in Elk Rapids because it’s about quality of the ingredients and then preparation of the item ordered. Mike is an amazing chef and his skills at creating great food is unmatched in my opinion. Don’t go anywhere else for pizza or sandwiches as you will just encounter mediocre. There is nothing average about River Street Market. As one reviewer said, it is a hidden gem and I so agree with that comment!!!

I live in Denver and have never found a sandwich there as good as River Street. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my entire life. The homemade bread was incredible. I had the gobbler for lunch and wanted another for dinner. Must stop if you’re in the area!

I display at art shows 3 times a year, and it is an absolute treat to have their pizza. The Mediterranean is my favorite. Best in town!

Just stopped in and Mike gave us a sample of his fresh bread he was baking. So we had to take an Italian back to Torch Lake for lunch. Awesome sandwich. Definitely a future go to lunch spot everytime we are back up to the lake.

We pulled in the marina several times this summer and walked to the River Street Market. This is our go to place for sandwiches, pizza, beer, wine, liquor, etc. The food is incredible! A must have in Elk Rapids.

This place is awesome! A hidden gem. The food here is amazing. I won a gift certificate from z93 for a free pizza from here. We decided to take a random road trip to Elk Rapids to get pizza for dinner, and in SO GLAD we did! Mike who makes the food is a great guy. The pizza was delicious, they actually have a pretty big menu, and Mike encouraged us to try some of their sandwiches someday. It only took about 10-15 minutes to have a fresh pizza to go. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you Mike and staff 💗
