Service was quick and not overwhelming trying to upsell. Love their Tlalpeno soup. Beautiful and casual little set up. People complain about the service but my server was constantly bringing me water and sprite. Prices were on point. My new favorite little place on Montana.
Had the El Chepe which included arrachera, 2 eggs, chilaquiles, beans and soup. Soup was a delicious tlapeño with fresh cheese, tortilla strips, garbanzo beans and other vegetables. Not your typical El Paso Tex Mex. More of the original flavors and tastes you get south of the border in the state of Chihuahua. Get your tats buds ready for blends of spices from the mother land of Mexico.
My husband and I came to try it and it was really good. We had chile rellenos and tripitas and it was delicious. The tripitas were cooked to perfection . The service was friendly and courteous. The decor is subtle and appealing. The seating is comfortable and the luncheon specials were reasonably priced . We loved everything about it . We will be coming back for sure . The menu selections look absolutely delicious! It appears they have additional seating for a larger gathering in a room extension. So glad we came .
Great authentic Mexican food and excellent service. The location is very convenient to many of the local hotels and a short distance from the airport. Perfect for a quick authentic Mexican meal for the busy traveler.
I am always searching to find the best mexican food restaurant and I believe I have found it. El Chepe has the best tasting mexican food and a very reasonable prices. I have visited them for at least three times a week and service and taste is consistently great.
Well this is the 3rd time to visit and it's getting better each time. This place is located at the corner of a busy street and space is limited at the front yet more is available in the back lot. The restaurant is divided into 2 sections and its brightly decorated in Hispanic style. The servers have always been attentive and kind. We started with the queso fundido with rajas and chorizo. The flavor is bursting and the rajas are not spicy. Your table is suppplied with tostadas and chile. My son ordered slider plate, my wife enchiladas montadas and I had rib eye with 2 eggs. The sliders are good size with the portion of fries. The enchiladas were not soggy and it can be seen home made tortillas. The rib eye was cook effectively in its juices and eggs done right over easy. The only issue was the kitchen mixing fish with beef utensils as the fish flavor was prominent with the vegetables. Overall a good place, Mexican music on and tasty food. We Will make it part of our regular places to dine.
Very good food, awesome wait staff, no wait for a table. I had the green chile burger (delicious and enormous). Hubby has tacos asada. Also had queso fundido as an appetizer. So yummy!
New place in town, went for breakfast. Had the enchiladas montadas roja, so good! Others had the breakfast Chepe and arrachera breakfast- both were also delicious. Hopefully this place sticks around! 👌🏿👍🏿
Very good food and reasonable prices. Awesome customer service. Ask for Liz! Awesome waitress... Thanks
Very nice. I asked for fish tacos that weren't on the menu. They made them special for me. They were perfect.
