Service was quick and not overwhelming trying to upsell. Love their Tlalpeno soup. Beautiful and casual little set up. People complain about the service but my server was constantly bringing me water and sprite. Prices were on point. My new favorite little place on Montana.
Had the El Chepe which included arrachera, 2 eggs, chilaquiles, beans and soup. Soup was a delicious tlapeño with fresh cheese, tortilla strips, garbanzo beans and other vegetables. Not your typical El Paso Tex Mex. More of the original flavors and tastes you get south of the border in the state of

Great authentic Mexican food and excellent service. The location is very convenient to many of the local hotels and a short distance from the airport. Perfect for a quick authentic Mexican meal for the busy traveler.
I am always searching to find the best mexican food restaurant and I believe I have found it. El Chepe has the best tasting mexican food and a very reasonable prices. I have visited them for at least three times a week and service and taste is consistently great.
Well this is the 3rd time to visit and it's getting better each time. This place is located at the corner of a busy street and space is limited at the front yet more is available in the back lot. Very good food, awesome wait staff, no wait for a table. I had the green chile burger (delicious and enormous). Hubby has tacos asada. Also had queso fundido as an appetizer. So yummy!
New place in town, went for breakfast. Had the enchiladas montadas roja, so good! Others had the breakfast Chepe and arrachera breakfast- both were also delicious. Hopefully this place sticks around! 👌🏿👍🏿
