Best Pan dulce I’ve ever had! Growing up we would drive to segundo barrio to purchase this yummy bread!! Now every time we visit El Paso, we have to make a stop and stock up on some to bring back with us to Dallas!
Delicious pan de dulce, Mmmmm
Plan on making it a tradition just riding my Harley to buy pan de dulce
We stop here every time we come down. My mom grew up en EI Chuco, so this is the spot we always recommend to anyone we know are coming down. I absolutely love their enpanadas de manzana, Pina, and the polvorones are a must. They sell tamales, but I was not a fan. Prices are great, and they are pretty busy, but service is fast. Love the fact that if you buy $15 dollars or more, they give you a bread bag for free, that's IF they have any. Let me know if you try it.
This Bakery is a MUST! I VISITED TODAY, 06/27/23,
And they're Pan Dulce is as good as EVER!!!! I grew up with Bakery, and I had to have their maranitos! I highly recommend this Bakery if you want Authentic Mexican Sweet Bread!!! Go ahead and Try it!!!🧁
If you want to experience the true taste of sweet bread this side of the border, Bowie is the place. It's been around since 1951, and for good reason. If you don't live near it, trust me the drive is worth it. I promise you will not regret it.
This is where the locals go for their sweet tooth fix. But not only! I asked a local which place has the best tamales... He didn't think twice and recommended Bowie bakery! Now this is my first time eating tamales, so I can't compare, but the place had quite a few people! Their tres leches cake is one of the best I have had! The rice pudding is quite good as well! It is an El Paso staple, so definitely worth a visit! Great people, friendly, helpful and patient! Recommend!
This place is a El Paso staple. My family has been coming here forever for what we believe are the best tamales in town. We prefer the red chili ones personally. And don't forget the pastries e everything here is delicious
Bakery brings back beautiful memories. Everytime we are in town I have to make a quick stop and take some sweet bread for the road.. Still as authentic as I remember it growing up! 👍
I came here for the first time in july while i was visiting El Paso. The pastries were fresh and the people were really nice. I would definitely recommend this place.
Employees are positively best attitude. Spanish is a must, but English is fine. My favorites are maranitos, horejas, chocolate donuts and canollis. There cakes are good.
Excellent bakery. Definitely a trademark of El Paso. It's small and tucked away in an residential area that most people don't venture into. They have a large selection of delicious baked goods; sweet breads, donuts, muffins, cakes and more. If you like tres Leches cakes, I highly recommend theirs.
It's a good place to get baked goods for adults and kids. They usually have attentive, polite staff working there. And the bakery is kept clean. They accept cash, cards and EBT(food stamps). Note; parking space is very limited. But if you're looking for something sweet in El Paso, Texas. Then this is a great place go to.
Like a bear at a honey comb, this place is sweet! A grown man’s candy store. The perfect blend of baked goods and the sweet sugar frostings of a finger licking extravaganza. A throwback staple still collecting the old soul as lines rap around the glass counters. Simply delicious and a wheel of flavor still turning with the hands of time! Definitely an EL Paso sweet treat!
